@@spearofconquest In 2001 Oregon was cheated out of being the bridesmaid. So Being the bridesmaid in 2010 and 2014 was progress. Plus Oregon would have beaten Notre Dame in 2012 but that Alabama privilege got in the way. In the Big 10 the best conference Oregon won't be cheated when they slip up one game.

@@grantwlms It is tougher conference but the Pac 12 had a lot of pit falls the rest of the country takes for granted. I'd rather play Michigan than an Arizona team on the road.

Props to Colin and Coach Lanning. Both men are out-of-the-box thinkers.

Outta all the "new bloods" I respect oregon more than prolly any other ones. Cuz they got good fans and a really consistent program and a roster that never looks like third rate players. Granted my squad Lsu played them in 2011 and we ran a no huddle IForm and absolutely made Oregons athletes look second rate, but Oregon has long been a quality program

OU fan/graphic artist. I love Oregons DUCK Uniform combination. Its so creative and i think it looks clean. I know there has been a million different Uniforms over the years of NIKE inventing so many different trends. Maybe a Black Duck Uniform could be a cool new take. NIKE hit me up! Its a dream job to design and create college football uniforms, Apparel, promo items, whatever, but i would love to give a good swing at a Black Duck Uniform design. I have a good idea for a new OU black uni and an ICY white uni too. I like OUs 1st blackouts, other than everybody's name looked like it was Unity, i feel like there could have been a better way to still get the message across, but where the broadcasting announcers could read the names of the players. Basically reverse it. Unity on the front of the jerseys, and on the back helmet bumper. And i can make the names amd numbers more readable with a little design tweaks. Unity 2.0u would be my name for it

Oregon 2024 schedule Idaho Boise State @ Corvallis (Civil War Rivalry) BYE @ UCLA vs Michigan State vs Ohio State (marquee matchup #1) @ Purdue vs Illinois (HC) @ Michigan (marquee matchup #2) vs Maryland @ Wisconsin (lookahead game) vs Washington (last year was the biggest rivalry game in a long time) I don’t think this schedule is as easy as people think it is but Dan Lanning should get the job done. Ohio State is spending as much or more than Oregon is right now with NIL. Oregon's NIL just evens the playing field for a school with a small student enrollment compared to the other schools with big name football programs.

The calls he did wrong were obvious and even a carpenter sitting at home would not have derailed our season as he has his first two years. My guess is he will do great other than at the most inopportune time.

We have won plenty of big games. Multiple Rose Bowls including an undefeated FSU team and beat Ohio State at the horseshoe 3 years ago... won Fiesta bowls - ended up top 5 and top 10 multiple years - inside the top 10 winning teams since 2000. Thanks for sharing, but get a clue first next time.

Nebraska looks really good this year. Oregon will definitely finish below them as well. It'll be interesting to see which of the west coast schools can compete. UCLA is rebuilding, but the other 3 seem to be pretty equal.

Soooo are Oregon fans going to overlook the fact that their kryptonite is defending an aggressive passing attack 😩 They have the same defensive scheme as Bama/Georgia. And that scheme struggles with mobile qbs that can attack the secondary.

The problem is secondary talent. Oregon really only had one elite cb last year. This year they have been targeting safety and cb talent to help give them depth and the ability to defend the pass better. I see Oregon’s secondary this year as a big upgrade from last year.
