I'll never forget...I went to Don Knott's memorial with my dad (they were close friends). There were a few hundred people there and a lot of speeches made. One was by Tim Conway. He proceeded to go to the podium and was so damn hilarious...he had the whole place laughing to tears. It was amazing. Bob Newhart did the same thing. For a memorial, it was one of the most amazingly funny nights of my life, yet also very sad of course.

Yes, she learned that from Gary Moore. Moore had a variety show in the late 1950's and Carol was a female Harvey Korman i.e. second banana. She was hilarious on that show but she said Gary insisted on a "happy" set, no drama, no bickering, no rudeness to the guests. Guests would be tolerated as many could be difficult but the cast was always to remain professional and polite. Carol once had a run in with Harvey. She said he could get in a mood and on this day he was a little short with the guest stars, Petula Clark and ironically Tim Conway (Tim would do 2 or 3 shows a season before he got the permanent co-star status around 1976 or so). Carol confronted Harvey, who told her bluntly to mind her own business and "I don't even want to be on the show anymore!". She called his agent and told him she was letting him out of his contract, then went to Harvey and told him he was off the show. He wound up asking for a second chance, she accepted it and told him going forward to be "Mr. Happy" from now on! Next day she saw him come out of the elevator and he started smiling and skipping down the hallway! She adored Harvey and Tim. Sad that they are both gone but their comedy will live on forever.

Carol Burnett was big when we were young. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were the funniest people ever. They never could make it through a sketch without cracking up. One of my favorites of all time

I was lucky enough to go to several live tapings of the Carol Burnett Show in the 70s. It was probably my favorite show growing up. A good friend of mine is Carol Burnett's assistant so I've had The good fortune to meet her backstage after one of her shows that she tours with. What a nice lady. Tim Conway lived up the street from me, but I only met him one time. Harvey korman played golf with my next door neighbor, but I never got to meet him. Some interesting coincidences. One of the funniest shows ever on TV!!

In the early-mid 1970's, I was so excited every Saturday night when Carol Burnett came on. Watching Conway try to make Korman break character was the best. And yes, Conway told Conan O'Brien that Korman peed his pants when Conway's leg collapsed; you can see him cross his legs when it happens.

My favorite show when I was a kid, still ranks up there as one of my all time favorites. You have to check out Tim Conway & Carol Burnett as their famous duo - Mr. Tudball & Mrs. Wiggins... The show had several skits with those two characters. Pure Classic Comedy Gold! :-)

If Tim Conway and Harvey Korman don't make you laugh, nobody can. This was always one of my favorite skits. The one with Carol Burnett plays Scarlett O'Hara is priceless. When she goes to visit Rhett Butler in jail wearing the curtains (plus the curtain rods) just breaks me up.

The two of them were comedy gold, always trying to make each other break character. The chemistry the core cast (Conway, Burnett, Lawrence, and Korman) had was second to none. The physical comedy, not just the words, and the writing was superb. So glad you're showing these, and you love them as much as we long-time fans do!
