If Aranna made the damage be redirected at the opponent's face then it would probably go into Questline DH as a finisher, maybe reshaping the deck to be all about drawing into fatigue in one turn.

I know you said cliff dive is an odd one but it’s actually even Zeddy learn to count 😎

Worth noting, Grappling Hook combos with Sock Puppet Slitherscale as while it's equipped the minion will have 6 attack.

Priest can’t use Aranna, so they’ll probably get some sort of effect that turns healing into damage? Probably won’t be as good since the card pool would be limited, and some slots would go to support Priest’s own Tourist.

climbing hook in big shaman focused on weapon dmg sounds absolutely cracked to me... just a question of if shaman can survive and how easy it is to arrange in hand and on board, what the tier abuse deck will be as well.

oh gosh, just remembered about the 1/1 that gives windfury to your hero for shaman 😩

Cliff Dive is very strong, at least for wild. 5 STARS! You can summon Thaddius or any other crazy neutral for a crazy combo

Some of these would be so interesting if Hearthstone were still a board based game (Except Aranna, it's just Demon Seed) but I'm today's Hearthstone is a little unplayable. I love this type of design tho! Where multiple small plays make a cool synergy that out-values your opponent. This weapon is similar to the Foam Reaver from Death Knight (The weapon that spends corpses to gain durability). Anyways, I wish they printed more cards like this and actually made them playable

I love this style of DH. Can't wait to make a deck from these cards

im gonna guess the cost on that weapon gets lowered unless it fits into some combo really well

This card kinda looks better for wild than standard because except attacking in a huge statted minion I don't think there aren't currently good self-damaging priest/DH cards in standard. Also it's worse than Demon Seed because your opponent will obviously try to kill it next turn and 5 mana is already expensive. I think more of it like a Malygos function for big combo plays, probably in wild.

The 6 mana weapon also synergizes very well with the sock naga, I think ia not that hard to make it work.

so, agro HS will be live soon?

As a shaman, play climbing hook turn 6, don't swing, turn 7 you play the 1/1 mini elemental that gives wind fury and then steal attack from 2 minions on board to have a total of 28 dmg on one turn. The only counterplay is your opponent not having minions with at least 4 attack, or not letting yours live. That's the dream, but who knows right

I mean hook on 6, 4 cost sand art elemental, skirt your own elemental is 20 damage. That's not very hard to setup.

Skirting Death seems crazy for aggro DH.

I'll be honest, this idea seems way too slow, I think DH will be better off killing their opponent on turn 4-5 with all the charge cards they got...

@@Cuestrupaster I put a comment about that on the other DH review where it had those cards and how it could combo with Halveria and an alleged DH main told me that playing Midrange would just be better overall. So the opinions are kinda divided between the charges and the otks, which is interesting because DH is usually just broken regardless.

Cliff Dive seems funny for BIG SHAMAN. Granted theres not much reason to run Cookie in those lists. Aranna seems a bit worrying, at least in terms of game design.

They shouldn't. Much like how bouncing a card back to hand resets it to base stats.

I dont think it'll be good but cliff dive with the 2 8/8's then hero power for 17 damage to face

I hope the tourist cards enable an enhancement shaman deck and it's not all aggro

There is also Glaivetar. Play as many Outcast as you can, empty your deck, play Aranna and then attack with the last use of Glaivetar to win with fatigue.

Patches the pilot, cookie, eliza, sancazel, and incidius (for reno) are all solid legendaries. Especially eliza and sancazel may get nerfed

Dh doesn’t have a darkglaire though, without darkglaire demon seed would be tier 3. I assume you could still go the miracle route and try to fatigue yourself but that would also take a considerable amount of mana to do

Did anyone notice that Aranna is just not a demon hunter since like Castle Nathria? I get that this cuter design is more marketable, but it makes no sense whatsoever and i can't look at her without thinking "they disregard lore because nobody bought gif where she had blndfold and horns".

The card is from before she became a Demon Hunter. Because after one becomes a Demon Hunter they can't go back to normal again right? As for the hero skins, they are usually not lore accurate, so they just sell whatever they want.

@@THMCTerracraft2 A Demon Hunter minion doesn't necessarily have to be a Demon Hunter itself, for example there are some Naga that don't have the blindfold, or Ball Hog who is just a regular Quilboar. As for Aranna, she is known Demon Hunter character so they make her a Demon Hunter card.

The randomness on the legendary card makes it a lot worse than Demon Seed, so it might not be as bad.

The main thing is that there's a lot less self damage synergy in DH than Warlock. Since Warlock has the entire Pain archetype full of self damage cards as well as Fatigue synergies (With stuff like Crescendo and Encroaching Insanity) DH just has... Punching stuff (And doesn't even have multi-attack enablers in Standard besides Going Down Swinging which makes you immune and thus prevents self damage) and maybe decking themselves and drawing fatigue. There might be some form of "Your healing becomes damage" effect in the upcoming Priest cards that would provide DH with some extra self damage via Lifesteal, but even then DH doesn't currently have much in the way of mass Lifesteal (Besides Eye of Shadow + Going Down Swinging... But again, the immune makes that not work) So yeah, unless draw DH becomes a thing where the goal is self fatigue, Aranna won't be too impactful.

CLIFF DIVE IS WHAT??? My GOD deathrattles gonna be terrifying! (hint: just use shitman to cheat out nasty early game deathrattles or big late games I don't think it sees much use in DH)

All terrain voidhound ***COUUULD*** see play in Shaman, shaman does have a 1 mana mini that gives your hero windfury and lifesteal. So i mean maybe thats enough reach but i doubt it.

The Mini doesn't give Lifesteal, it gives only Windfury, but yeah, the Voidhound could be playable in Shaman.

The issue is that Shaman doesn't have a way to force it to attack. Meaning they have to play a 7 mana do nothing and then hope it lives for a turn before they can get value from it.

More like you play the draw DH deck and use this instead of the togwagle as a win con - just play this card instead of tog, draw your usual 10-20 cards and deal 100 fatigue damage to your opponent

the ATV could be used in a big shaman list focused on weapons and face power. all of the windfury available to shaman, I think this actually will be playable, especially with the lifestealing spells.

Big DH still seems bad, too slow, not explosive enough, situationnal legendary unless priest cards hurt you... At least the theme is cool :D

The art for Aranna looks terrible, idk how can they approve smth like this, she looks way better in the promo image. Same thing happened during Murder at Castle Nathria where we got another terrible-looking card art for Draka, yet the promo art was better.

Seems like a really bad dh expansion. The tourist is pretty much useless as you really only have your attack. If it was just face it's decent but an anti synergy control card seems too inconsistent for the class

Pirates is the single best tribe your class can get put into, mainly for wild, but it's the tribe that has the most support in standard right now too, outside of class specific stuff. "pre paying" for charge pirates when there are two aura buffers for pirates available could be scary. Like the sigil is very similar to hunter's "hidden meaning", which is extremely powerful.

Aranna is kind of useless. Demon hunter players go for face exclusively. Every time.
