Can the fan be directed in both directions? Or just one, as in the video?

You can flip it around to reverse the airflow. Highly recommend when working on the Deepcool CH160 Mini-ITX Case

I don’t think you can since the fan is proprietary to the cooler so the clips it uses to slot in will only properly fit on the fan that comes with it.

Gotta see how well single fan versio compare to older two fan model in temp and noice tests

"Their" newly designed fan. That's cute. I wonder who's sticker they pulled off the fan before sticking theirs on.

AMD run a too damn hot for an air coolers, so AIO is your best bet. Also the proprietary fan in the middle sucks major balls not all fans fit it has the be the right size.
