So the question arises here why the Muslim community could not progress during this period. With a population of over 80% of the total population as Hindus, India will always remain a Hindu Rashtra but it doesn't mean other religions / communities can't co-exist. Mr Jha is one of the more rational and liberal people in the congress ecosystem. He is well-spoken and I believe well-read too. I like listening to his arguments though don't agree half of the time. Why would 14% be regarded as minority and would have the first claim to the resource against the real minority of 4%? This appears to suggest what Modiji thinks how wealth redistribution will take place and Congress has deliberately or otherwise left it out. Congress may fool some with their wishy washy defence but not all.

MMS message is very comprehensive in its scope which was well intended for overall upliftment of all those sections mentioned in the speech. Anyone who is lifting only one section for the political dividend and to create a division of people is doing an ill service to the nation.
