Merci de cette approche sensible, respectueuse de la vie fulgurante de Nureyev, ainsi que de sa mort. Grâce à vous, nous avons accès à des témoignages très forts de celles et ceux qui ont eu la chance de le côtoyer. Il est inoubliable.

Siguiendo admirando a Rudolf, el día 27 tengo entradas para ver en La Bastilla, su ballet La Balladere. En 2019 fui a ver su Raymonda, ballet monumental, precioso. Es el homenaje que puedo hacer por este gran y único bailarin. Siempre recordado. Como él dijo: " Seguiré vivo, mientras se sigan viendo mis ballets". ¡ Vive, en nuestra memoria!

I was at the Opera Bastille 2 days ago for La Bayadère with Dorothée Gilbert in the title role. The entrance of the shadows at the 3rd act is so marvelous that it can't be forget for the rest of your life.

El tercer acto es maravilloso, yo lo he visto en vídeo, pero hay que verlo en directo, es fundamental para absorber el espíritu del ballet. Yo no se quien actuará ese día, pero notare la ausencia de Nureyev, su magnetismo era único. Compré hace tiempo este ballet de Nureyev, y me pareció una obra de arte. Actuaba Isabelle Guerin, Hilarie Laurent, en sus papeles principales. Jean Guizerix como Abderram. En fin, creo que verlo es necesario y me encantará. No sé si hay forma de saber quién actuará ese día.

Por supuesto. Ha sido un ballet maravilloso, pero mis recuerdos eran para él. Los pasos de baile, tan suyos, te le recordaban continuamente. Era un bailarin muy especial, yo todavía no he visto uno como él, tenía una presencia y un magnetismo, que sólo le podías mirar a él. Pero gracias a sus ballets, le seguimos viendo.

@@normezmoi Ayer estuve viendo La Balladere, y Valentine Colasante hizo de Nikiya. Muy buena actuación. Es un ballet espectacular de bailes y colorido. Impresionante. Yo tengo el DVD de La Balladere de 1992, cuando se estrenó y todavía vivía Rudolf, pero verlo en directo es increíble. El vestuario y decoración, también magnífico. Las creaciones de Nureyev son espectaculares.

Le petit prince de la danse classique ! Le plus grand danseur du XX è siècle qui a marqué son époque . Un danseur exceptionnel, doté de puissance et de grâce , cela le rendait magique , chaque fois qu’il rentrait sur scène il enveloppait la salle par sa grâce et son élégance . Un grand homme qui a vécu par et pour la danse en consacrant sa vie à cet art auquel il quel il aura apporté tant de noblesse 🙏

Nureev was a unique combination of many talents. He was gorgeous, ambitious and worked harder than others. His charisma was more than the political context of his life. He wanted to be the best and expected others to expect the same from themselves. Dancers and people like this are timeless inspiration. He said yes to 20:08 life and no to defeat.

En sus vacaciones se fue a Dinamarca a conocer a Erick Bruhn, y estando allí, le llamo Margot Fonteyn para actuar en una función benéfica, y posteriormente debutó en Londres en febrero de 1962 con Margot Fonteyn en Giselle, y le hicieron un contrato fijo como artista invitado, y siguieron bailando muchos años. A la Ópera de París como director llegó en 1983 y el primer ballet que hizo el ballet Raymonda, con gran exito.

His mother was beautiful, not “rather attractive”! Nureyev was beautiful and he strongly resembled her….but you can see the harshness of their lives and the poverty he described, in the photos.

Min 2.27 Ogniuno puo avere le sue fantazie su chiunque, ma dire di RUDOLF NUREYEV che e stato un "DIO" della religgione indu, significa negare l, evidenza di tutto quello che ha espresso con il suo magnifico lavoro : tutta la sua cultura europea di influenza greco - romana e Cristiana ! I balletti classici di autori Cristiani( soltanto se vogliamo abberare possiamo considerare TCHAIKOVSKI di religgione orientale...e tutti gli altri che non sto piu a nominare) per i qualli ha fatto anche la coreografia nello stesso spirito, sono l, evidenza del suo credo : basta guardarli e capirli ! Basta guardare PETRUSKA... combatere il dogmatismo della chiesa, non significa rinunciare ai principi Cristiani ( al contrario) : vedi Tolstoi !!! Uno degli scrittori prefferiti da Rudolf Nureyev era Dostoievschi... anche lui era di religgione indu ?!?!... I quadri, le pitture che colezzionava sono opere che esprimono la cultura europea ! Lui stesso si e fatto fotograffare con la croce al collo... e quando e tornato in Russia, doppo la caduta del comunismo, si e fatto filmare in una chiesa ortodossa e credo che non sia andato per vedere come e fatta una chiesa ortodossa (visto che le conosceva benissimo fin, da bambino) ! Ha personificato in ballo IL DIO APOLLO...... e Margherita e Armand( la dama delle camelie di Alessandre Dumas...che non possiamo, ugualmente sospettare di essere stato di cultura orientale). Hormis la production de La Bayadere ( 1974 et 1992 ) , l'entrée au répertoire de l'opéra de Paris de Raymonda on parle beaucoup trop des autres productions Noureev , c'est faire abstraction injuste des productions antérieures , en premier le fastueux casse noisette de Rosella Hightower en 1981 - la plus somptueuse féerie que l'opéra de Paris a pu connaitre au vingtième siècle, aucun spectateurs qui ont assisté a ces représentations ne peut me contredire ; la scénographie de la Belle Aurore au Bois Dormant a fait salke comble au Palais des congrès Paris en Mai 1983 ; non a part La Bayadere et Raymonda Noureev n'a pas fait rever le public autant que ces prédécesseurs quant au Contemporain ses coreos personnelles ont été lamentables ( Washington Square - Two Brothers ou La Tempête ) ont etes des fiascos , oui Forsythe a crée grace â lui a lopera de Paris mais cest minime en comparaison de ce qu'a réalisé B Lefevre . Il faut le dire Noureev reste le Dieux de La Dance avec Nijinski mais des lacunes et fautes graves en temps que Principal a l'opéra de Paris , des carrieres et demissions a cause de lui etc .. la perfection nexiste pas , lextase béate est subjecive .

That last time he dance in Wiesbaden it was just wonderfull and fantastique to see in fact magic.the rain was comeing down and it was just so cold open air.nobody left that proformace. But then after he went to a club.come back at 2 . he know that hé was very ill but still went on the looking for the boys. A wonderfull artiste but a shit.

I will never forget when I had him come to Wiesbaden for his very last proformace just befor he die.he was just wonderfull and fantastique to see magnifique.but when he come back to the hotel with a boy.I told him to stop hé Say to me Edward when I die I do not die along.. he give his maladie to all that went with him. A wonderfull artiste but a very shit man.

Nureyev c,est un grand danceur. Mais pas du tout "l'ame" de la dance. Cela c'est ALexandre Godunov pour la majorite des balletomanes. Excusez moi.

Comparing him to God or Jesus ...just turns my stomach! Can he walk out of his grave in a glorified body? NO! He was simply a man ...and an arrogant self righteous one at that. Good dancer but thats all.

Il était arrogant et il y avait des danseurs mille fois plus techniques que lui. Noureev était une médiatisation politique mais c'était un homme et un artiste, point final. Ce n'était pas Dieu qui est un blasphème. Un artiste et un danseur de ballet comme beaucoup d'hommes talentueux aujourd'hui qui, en raison de leur contexte, n'obtiennent pas la reconnaissance qu'ils méritent.
