Man I waited all month for this song because it's Jack White and one of my favorites from this side project of his, and the review was kind of a kick in the nuts 😅 All good though, really appreciate your dissection of it. Hope you get to hear other songs from them in the future to get a better idea of who they are. I Feel Love, Cop and Go, Cut Like a Buffalo, and Let Me Through (among others) are all worth checking out. Although I don't think the vocals will change for you. Any update on Jack White - Respect Commander in the queue? This is like my personal Super Bowl whenever you get to it. Thanks for all you do!
Hi David, Solid review!. In case you didn’t know - Jack White plays the drums in this band & 2nd vocals Naturally it feels more of a lead instrument in this band. They have great music Dean Fertita (from Queens Of The Stone Age) plays guitar/keys Alison Mosshart (from The Kills) does lead vocals Jack Lawrence (from most notably The Raconteurs) plays bass
Fair score. For me, there are better tracks from them, however by the way you went with the vocals, I don’t think it would’ve made much difference. I feel you’d be more on board with Alison Mosshart’s vocals for The Kills.

I love the Dead Weather. But for some reason I have always felt like their live songs were WAY better than the studio ones. I was never a huge fan of the mixes on the studio versions, but love the rawness of them performing live. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6iixrJtYJrSpc4.html - This performance is one of my all time favs. I can't fully explain why, but I always come back to it at least once a month. lol
