It’s amazing how many people hear this song and completely misunderstand what this song is about due to how beautiful the hook is

On a saturday night, in Charlotte NC 2022. The Dead South performed this on one of their two encores at the end of the show. Their show was the best live performance I have ever witnessed.

As a HUGE Misfits fan, and someone who has covered this amazing song with me on drums, my daughter on guitar and lead vocals, my son on bass guitar and backing vocals, I can honestly say that this cover is truly something else! Absolutely knocked it out of the park, gentlemen! I will be listening to this for many, many, years to come! Absolutely Stunning!

I get drunk every nearly every Saturday and jam this on piano. Just discovered the Dead South cover. I had an absolute blast singing along with a tambourine in hand. And the beauty is they didn't completely alter the structure, so on a first listen, singing the original melody verbatim synced me into a great harmony. Awesome, awesome fun. Well done fellas.
