poida ...surprising...none of the dancers etc at even one performance? I’d expect it if I were a large venue in Aussie land...... ...I only went once in USA..and I am pretty sure none were there...maybe no horn player...how ever I may not remember correctly....I was to surprised by the performance to notice even a horn player performing. ......I’d have to be hypnotized to remember if one was at that show.

What a fucking great song, one of the best they ever made! And they made a lot of great stuff... Would like very much to see a concert, didn't know that they were performing again. But Australia is pretty far away!

I saw the Oils at the Masonic Temple in Toronto in the 80s, it was an amazing show. Looks like they haven't lost a step. What a great live band.

Saw an interview with Rob Hirst (drummer) recently where he mentions the monotone repeated beat of the track is in time to the syncopations of rutted dirt tracks in the outback and the outro is meant to be like a car driving off into the distance, still playing a tune that gradually fades away. Although the song is about the mistreatment of indigenous Australians, it's also about traveling through the middle of Australia.

As much as Head Injuries is a rocker and 10-1 is their musically most innovative record… this song and Diesel is their magnum opus. Everything is so Australian, so melodic and so Oils
