Absolutely insane production quality on this video. Absolutely smashed it. The amount of goofy edits were perfect, just often enough, and I laughed at every one. @@S0ur The multiplayer is sadly as unenjoyable as it gets, but the campaign and co-op are pretty decent. Maybe when it goes on sale for 20 bucks you could make a couple videos with it

Sour, I’ve been watching you for years, really enjoyed your COD content, but I stopped watching in 2020 as I stopped playing COD and moved to D2. Seeing you now uploading D2 content makes me so happy, I would love it so much if you uploaded similar style videos to your old cod ones but Destiny 2 themed. You seem to have a really decent grasp on the lore and mechanics of the game, and clearly play a fair amount! With season of the deep starting soon and the story really ramping up for The Final Shape is would be awesome to see some more general play, seasonal stuff and lore exploration stuff from you!

Lmao, thanks. I do have quite a bit of time in it, yeah, fun spare time game. Maybe that would've been neat to do in an alternate universe, but I can't see transitioning into anything like that, even ignoring the fact that it would be very audience alienating. The market for rapid news/game coverage is just super saturated, and I'm slow, it honestly doesn't fit my style anymore sadly. No doubt would also burn me out on the game pretty quickly. I think it's just fun to put together a rare storytelling style project like this, maybe again for the FS raid.

Hah sure. Seeing as I'm still a Vegas user it's nothing overly fancy. Starts with the 2d map image, which is distorted to roughly match the correct perspective using Vegas's 3d rotation ('track motion'). The animation is automatic between those 2 keyframes like with anything. The "drawing"/revealing of the distorted map is just a custom gradient wipe transition. Easiest to make with a photoshop gradient brush (brush properties-> color dynamics, control: fade) to have it gradually go from white to black as I traced over the line in the direction I want it to be revealed.

S0ur, for your next mega-campaign can you please play Medal of Honor : Allied Assault + Breakthrough and Spearhead on hard without quicksaves? AA is pretty fair but theres one particular mission where its hard but not so much, meanwhile Breakthrough is stupid hard because of extreme lack of ammo, and Spearhead is a bit hard. Also make sure you shoot the barrels because they have cool luqiud pyshics on them. I know its not CoD and it will allienate some of your viewers but its the father of all CoDs so im sure it will be awesome. Thanks for reading this unnecerary long comment.

Hey, S0UR, appreciate the Destiny upload, what are your thoughts on XDefiant? After playing the closed beta, I'm fully on board with it, it's everything COD used to be (No SBMM, regular mini map, fast pace, good map design, devs that actually listen and communicate with the playerbase, ranked at launch, classic prestige, etc.). I don't expect COD to die, but this'll definitely replace it for me.

That's neat to hear, I hope they can establish a playerbase. Personally I'd say my CoD fatigue stretches a bit further than a lot of the common pain points unfortunately, the repetitive nature of multiplayer matches doesn't sound too appealing at the moment. Making guides carried my interest for a long while, but I can't really see how I'd slip back into that niche currently.

Still, I think you should give it a shot regardless since it's free, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised after years of COD furthering itself from its arcadey roots. If nothing else, we can trust the patch notes being appropriately detailed and very few, if any, stealth patches (cough*infinity ward*cough). Also, want to reiterate that the devs have been very open to feedback, to the point that I've rarely seen in a studio before. Who'd of thought that the guy who hyped up fish ai would actually be in tune with the average COD player lol.

Unfortunately my honest thoughts are that I think it's all terribly boring. I've given my full thoughts on MWII and I'd only be repeating the same gripes that I basically repeated for 3 years, and that doesn't make for very fun videos.
