The three old dogs did a good job moving the logs. The doors are a great find! From the video it appeared that the door bottom may be unfinished. If so, maybe seal them up before install. The grouse reminded me of an old Victorian woman opening and quickly closing her majestic fan! Merry Christmas Martin and team. Today a Savior is born!

I am planning on sealing up those ends and the new cabin will have a nice porch over these doors so moisture will not be a problem.

My goodness between the snow dog and David I haven't seen so much work get done so quickly. If it had been you, Martin, and your other friend, Jim, this would have been a video about coffee and cherry pies! I had to give you a dig before I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I just love watching that snow dog! What a nifty little piece of equipment it is! Although when Martin was using it with that sled it looked to be a little hard on the ankles. Hey Martin Thanks for the model number of the Jotul stove-606 -I was able to find a bunch of pictures and I really like the idea of the sides of the stove being like corrugated metal-more area to radiate heat than a flat sheet and would most likely help with expanding and contraction- Thanks again !!

Those are Duluth Trading given to me by a deceased friends wife. Vonnie did have to put on some iron on patches on the thighs when I got home but have no idea how old they are. Nice padding for working in the woods.
