Oh my gosh, I am so RELIEVED that Tetsushi lived. I thought for certain he was going to drown. I can't believe none of them realized something was wrong. Even if he hadn't been paralyzed, he seemed to be at the very least unconcious. I was gritting my teeth watching them bob his head up and down in the mud. Painful to watch. Happy he's doing okay.

For a little more context regarding The Twilight Zone movie, I listened to a podcast that went over that whole tragedy. Apparently, the helicopter pilot was a Vietnam veteran, and had warned Landis that there were too many explosions, and that they were too close to the helicopter, which will cause it to malfunction and crash. Landis then proceeds to tell the crew to add MORE pyrotechnics for an even bigger explosion, without informing the pilot. He is an absolute scumbag, and I am amazed that he never seen a day in jail for that atrocity.

Just a small correction to the Renard Spivey story. Although a lot of news outlets didn't report it because it made for a more clickbaity article, the wife he killed was not the one he was "happily married to for 27 years". The wife he killed, Patricia Spivey, he had only been married to since 2015 (which was towards the end of the run of the show). He had three wives, I believe the one he was married to for 27 years at the time was his second wife and he divorced her at some point after that episode which aired no later than 2008.

The Tetsushi event bears a lot of similarities to what happened to the prop comedian Tommy Cooper. Cooper was known for his unscripted antics, so when he had a heart attack while performing live, the audience thought he was joking around and continued laughing at him as he lay dying. When I was covering America's Got Talent for a now defunct website, I often criticized danger acts who mocked safety "for comedy". This is why. All of his life plans and goals over those 10 years, just gone in the blink of an eye; think about all of the families members who passed away while he was gone and he didn’t get to say goodbye to. The thing you missed about John Landis/Twilight zone movie is that using children at night around pyrotechnics wasn't "technically" illegal, it was very fucking illegal and everyone knew that but John Landis at that time was one of the biggest names of hollywood and you didn't say no and keep your career not to mention those children were not legally employed, Landis consciously worked around child labor laws and employment laws to keep things under wraps so the producers didn't shit can him. The tragedy is that it couldve been a relativley safe scene if not for Landis ego and thoughtlessness, the pilot was a veteran helo pilot that warned landis that what he was asking was insane even for someone as experienced as him, production crew did try to undermine him but sadly failed and to this day John Landis has not been held responsible for the murder of two children.

In 1982, there was a Brazilian television program called O Povo na Tv (The people on Tv), focusing on presenting regular people in scandalous situations, polemic city problems, consumer's defense, etc. In one particular day, they brought a mother with an infant child on her arms, sleeping. She complained about the baby having eye cancer, and not receiving proper treatment in local hospitals. Later, they would find out that the baby died while they were filming live. It's considered a lost media. Other program, Aqui Agora (Here Now), showed in 1993, a 16 years old girl attempting suicide. The reporters and other people would gather near the building she was on top, trying to talk to her. Suddenly she jumps, they cut the image, but there is still the audio of people terrorized. It was also considered a lost media, but years later they made a special about the channel, and that footage was there, meaning that they still have the original tapes.

On the case of Tetsushi Yanagida; keep in mind that whenever you suspect a spinal cord injury you're NOT supposed to in ANY WAY move them unless absolutely neseccary and then only do it in a controlled manner (stabilised head, body preferably put on a board and not simply carried in your arms). While they were joking with him, they were constantly moving his head and neck around- most likely causing the injury to become WORSE, not to mention that they pick him up in a "swan dive" position. Makes me wonder how bad the injury would have been and how differently it would have healed if they realised instantly that he might've gotten severly hurt?

Even if they'd realized what happened right away, if they'd have waited until they got a backboard out there and gotten him properly strapped on (which still would have included moving him a lot since he was fact down in the mud), he absolutely would have suffocated. A spinal injury, even with permanent paralysis, is preferable to smothering to death in the mud waiting for "proper protocol". What the hell. Them pulling him out was the only way he lived at all. The video of Dryden is wild. You can literally see him processing the decision to shoot the gun. He genuinely looked like someone who let things get out of hand due to all the attention, making eye contact with all the cameras and looking almost scared, before a moment of clear decision making. That's such a wild sequence.

The thing that pisses me off about the Twilight Zone helicopter crash is that Landis specifically broke the law, deceived the parents about the danger (who were speaking to them through a translator), and when multiple people told Landis about their concerns he would brush them off because he just had to film it exactly how he wanted to and didn’t care about the obvious preventable danger it posed to everyone else. The dude went to these people’s funerals, put on a big “oh woah is me” act, despite family members explicitly telling him not to come, then dragging the court case out and getting away with it even though he was clearly guilty. How he could have any career after all that is just truly disgusting.

Today is the first time I've ever seen this footage, yet I could immediately tell when he was going to kill them. And the fact is, they could too. Beyond the simple shock of what happened to him and the results, there's the very real possibility that he might have been less injured, or even come away without permanent damage, if the situation had been recognized earlier -- If there had been even a single person looking after proper safety monitoring. The Vic Morrow story is so much deeper and darker than you touched on here. He actually had a fear of working with helicopters, after having a "very serious premonition" that he would be killed in a helicopter crash years prior to this film. Also, the SFX lead guy actually told the director that he was using too much blasting agent for the scene, and that was before he found even more of what're called "channel charges" hidden in different areas prior to filming. Think of them as conical mortars... Another failure was in the helicopter pilots safety procedures (or failure to follow said procedures). Once again, the director demanded he fly as close as he did so that the helicopter could be framed against the backdrop of the burning village, as they'd waited all day to film this single scene and only had one shot since he'd planned on essentially decimating the entire on-site set to film this one scene. The children were also paid off the books to avoid scrutiny from labor laws for having the children in a hazardous environment and working as late as they were. (Not so) Fun Fact: Stephen Spielberg and John Landis were two very close friends prior to this, and Spielberg actually co-produced the movie, but he completely broke off their friendship and wanted nothing to do with Landis for decades afterwards. I don't believe they've ever reconciled. The reason I know so much about this is because Vic Morrow was one of my Dad's favorite actors, and my Dad was a huge movie buff, so he'd done research of his own in his youth, and once he'd told me about it, I was a tech kid, so I dove in too. If you want an extremely comprehensive review of the accident, including interviews with crew members that were actually AT the scene, check out the "Cursed Movies" series on Amazon Prime.

The Twilight Zone accident is so much worse than you alluded to. Vic Morrow, and the child actor he was holding was decapitated by the helicopters whirling blades, the other child was crushed under the skids of the aircraft. This footage was showed countless times at the trial, and in part on news broadcasts. The only reason it still exists is that someone ripped a copy from the work print, and sold it to a Faces of Death knock off, Death Scenes. That’s why it has the creepy music behind it, it was from the video’s footage, which was Death Scenes 2. Additionally, Morrow’s head can actually be seen floating near the crashed chopper.

In fact there is only 1 religion, the religion of lucifer, known as satanism and then there is reality , known as CHRISTIANITY. “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12 (KJV) Don`t be afraid to judge also, for the whole mankind is called and expected to judge righteously. Love others as ye love yourself - true, but there is some problems with it. Many souls don´t even love themselves, - they do drugs, - fornicate 24/7/365, - they smoke, - they hate, - they envy, - they murder others in their thoughts, - they gossip, and more.… Since when that became a love worthy to share others? Since when being evil, became being loving? Sadly many souls are like...John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 1st we all must make a choosing between the fathers, GOD OR MAMMON, whom shall we serve/whom shall be our father? And then the loving of thy neighbours can come. Therefore, nothing to do with love alone, it is time to bring in righteous judgments also. Let+s go over these 2 verses again; Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Learn to let go from all which soon to be no more: Soon even the most beautiful places on earth shall have extreme weather in the TRIBULATION PERIOD which last 7 years. Earth shall have earthquakes everywhere. No matter the side of the earth, it`s ground shall tremble. That brings forth: - lost lives, - lost houses, - chaos, Do not be busy to make plans in this dying world, which soon to burn up. Be busy seeking out the KINGDOM OF GOD. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) Christmas in December is pagan, since when did CHRIST celebrated His own b - day and expected us to do the same? I read out that Christians are called to "celebrate"(keep holy THE sabbath day). This is the only "holiday" for Christians for now. Still celebrating pagan holidays with the world = still being wicked. Aren+t we all not to called out to leave Babylon and not have friendships with the world? I have started to doubt that on the NARROW ROAD walks even much fewer souls then i 1st thought. For so many helping to expose the wicked ones yet still standing with them on their wicked holidays. Aren´t we called to endure till the end and to be busy doing the WILL OF GOD: - KEEP, - PREACH, - WATCH, - EXPOSE. We are SPIRITS, death means out of carnal body not out of existence. Spirits get judged in the day of judgment, not carnal bodies. If spirit lived an evil way ( were sinning their whole lifetimes and repented not, of course Hell and the lake is were they shall be. After all, HELL and the lake = PRISON, everlasting prison, with no way/chance to get out. Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Lets go over it again and ask: WHO ARE CALLED TO REPENT and to have a new Spiritual birth? - muslims, - indus, - atheists, - ignorants, - lgbtq++++++++ - buddisths, - satanists, - new agers, - all who place themselves under new yet old cool titles i haven´t yet heard. Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. There is professional help available to all. THE HELP FROM GOD/CHRIST. Call upon His name and you`ll be: - helped, - freed, - saved. Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. Male staying male is the most handsome. Female staying female is the most beautiful. There is no beauty in FTMs and in MTFs , only pure PRIDE which keeps them BLIND. This material, ye meet here in this playlist, should help you to stop FORNICATING: kzread.info/head/PLHYOKu9d9bz6iXzZxn95AIIhSbIODUu7V There is no beauty nor handsomeness in the image of an BAPHOMET. What shall it profit to a man if he re - creates himself in the image of a false god? What shall it profit to a man if he keeps celebrating all which wicked? What shall it profit to a man if he keeps denying TRUTH and delaying the truth to be seek`d out? Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Ecclesiastes 1:3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? GOD place souls who love not the truth UNDER THE STRONG DELUSION just to keep their hearts unbroken by the truth. GOD is caring and loving, and if you have shown to Him with your life that no truth are you wanting, then where is the surprising thing? If lies is what you love, then lies is what you`ll love. God give you what you asked for. You didn+t repent in your lifetime, therefore ye asked the love for lies. And ye then got your wish. If ye repented in your lifetime, therefore ye asked for truth and the truth was given to you. For those who truly hunger for truth: Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. For those who wanted the love for lies: 2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: Well how can ye love truth if not knowing nor understanding the truth? How can ye love what ye dont know? For example: There is many who help to expose the wicked, yet still wish merry xmas - that = also not having the love for the truth. They may have the knowing of the truth that xmas and other holidays are pagan and not to be celebrated, but as long as they do celebrate these, they don`t understand the truth nor love it. 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. Worrying about what to wear and from where to get clothes? Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Luke 12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Luke 12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. If GOD/CHRIST promise to give us all which we shall need, then why are we choosing to be of doubtful mind and still worrie? The governments of this world are in reality only the EVIL SPIRITS, they don`t care about a single human soul, therefore counting on them, for taking care about us is unwise.

Bit of a misconception with Twilight Zone: While Landis DID enjoy a successful career in the early to mid eighties afterwards, subsequent lengthy public legal battles made the incident more well known, and a tell all book that was published have pretty much left Landis' career destroyed, with only sporadic gigs from the 1990s onwards. In fact, when Landis directed an episode of Masters of Horror in the 2000s, a teamster was on set reading the book (making sure Landis could see him). He then very sarcastically asked Landis to sign it. When Landis explained that that was a difficult time in his life and trying to move past it, the teamster again very sarcastically asked him to sign it, to which Landis stormed off.

I am impressed as these are indeed very dark, probably some of the darkest youve found yet. I have seen the twilight zone movie so many times as it came out when I was a kid, but I never knew Vic morrow and the children were killed in a helicopter crash. It's horrifying to learn this after having seen that movie so many times, and that being probably the most dramatic story in it.
