For the Corey Feldman pool table scene It's a still from the movie Satan's Bed made in 1965, the woman is an unknown and younger Yoko Ono. It was made by Michael and Roberta Findlay, who were notorious for the particularly rough sexploitation films they produced in the 1960's. As to why it was put in there, I couldn’t tell you. Edit: as I was in a hurry to type this out I made the mistake of saying it was yoko ono, I’ve been corrected in that it’s actually Findlay on the table and yoko comes in later And thanks for the likes and comments💪😊

He would occasionally do puppet shows at my local rec center in Florida that my grandma would take me to as a kid. I remember my grandma was talking about how he got arrested years ago, and she showed a video of me watching him do his show….. Brooke Slocum’s case is extremely depressing. It wasn’t hugely famous and occurred well into the online age so when you google her name it’s very easy to find her old social media (twitter, pinterest, etc) and they’re all abandoned as if she’d simply forgotten about them in 2013-2014 and gone on with life. She even has a pin labeled “Baby and future stuff” with an engagement ring in it. She was so young and had no clue she would end up being another horror story about internet safety. I honestly hope the footage is never released. I think she deserves that little scrap of dignity in death, that will always be more important than my own/others’ morbid curiosity.

The wild part of the Noah's Ark story is that Michael Curtiz (pronounced Cur-TEEZ) wasn't some small-time Old Hollywood director. We're talking about the guy who made Captain Blood, Mildred Pierce, Robin Hood, White Christmas. This is the director who made CASABLANCA, for god's sake. He was nominated for six Oscars and won two. The most horrifying part of the story isn't just that extras were accidentally killed; it's that they were killed due to gross negligence at the beginning of one of the most respected careers in Hollywood history. That's how little their lives were worth to Hollywood and the movie-going public. Killing them did pretty much nothing to affect his career, and despite the deaths involved in filming, the film made back twice what it cost.

The fact they cut out 35 minutes of the scene means everyone had been struggling against the current for AT LEAST 40 minutes… think about how terrifying that is. How could they know when or if it was going to stop at any point? I feel like after 10, definitely 20, minutes into the shot… majority of individuals realized they were completely helpless. I’ve never been able to fathom this incident. It’s one of those things I can’t ever fully understand WHY and HOW it was allowed to get to that point, regardless of the time period. It’s a torture film in my opinion. Even though it’s just a scene, the length of it qualifies as a tv episode. Whether it was connected to the Noah’s Ark film or not, he should’ve been prosecuted for literally torturing people and recording it for his own gratification. There’s no way any behind the scene employees encouraged this to last 40 minutes, there’s no way they would be okay with shooting such a dangerous stunt for such a long period WITHOUT PROFESSIONALS. I can’t express how much my heart hurts every time I see a snapshot of that scene…

His story has come forward in more recent years, telling of him and another child actor who were sexually assaulted and raped by many high ranking figures in the entertainment industry. Corey Haim, the other child actor who was sexually assaulted alongside Feldman, went on to struggle with addiction until his eventual death from pneumonia in 2010. Many attribute his struggle with addiction to the abuse he endured as a child. Seeing that creepy clip placed into a music recording of Corey Feldman, in post production, doesn't sit right with me.

Born in 72, it brings back so so many fond memories of growing up and being so interested in anything tech and especially video game related. My dad would bring me to the local shopping mall that had just opened in 74, give me a few dollars in quarters and I'd roam the mall playing arcade games that were, before the arcade, scattered throughout. Once my money was gone I'd browse the Sears and Woolco toys and electronics departments and sometimes spend an hour in Radio Shack hoping someone would load a game into one of the PCs on display. I'm talking PRIMITIVE stuff. lol Good times.

It's genuinely horrifying how often those in professions that entail working with children end up being completely disgusting monsters. When I was like 11 or 12 I had a guitar instructor who worked out of a locally owned music shop, had to have been late 40s/early 50s age range, I ended up falling ill for like a month straight and my family had to cancel lessons with him entirely until we were sure I wasn't going to be sick any longer, during this time the guy got arrested for possession and distribution of C-P. Needless to say we did not return to that music shop ever again. EDIT: Yes I know it's not surprising smartasses, never said it wasn't, but it's still fucking horrifying.

Censorship wasn't a thing back then and it was surface web. When Facebook and KZread began to be a thing, they begin to censor and going after others websites with disturbing content. Because in the early 2000's kids began to have more and more access to the web and many parents started panicking. Mate, it’s no one else’s fault that she killed her self. She did it to her self. People can’t watch and predict her every movement, thought and idea. People are not superheroes like in movies, we can’t dictate and save everyone especially if they are dedicated to offing them-self.

@@Papacarrot Exactly mate, it’s not something you can control so what makes you or anyone else think other people could have stopped her, when it is not controllable, as you said… Only a professional (psychiatrist, gp, psychologist) could have helped her, but even then people still end up killing them-self. So if professionals who are trained and experienced in dealing with this can still not put a stop to it, then we can’t expect the average joes of life to SAVE or STOP someone from committing suicide or from being depressed. These are clinical conditions and people should not feel guilt and be blamed for not saving a suicidal person. You made a random assumption saying I think that depression is just inside the head but I am stating the opposite. That these conditions are clinical and very serious and the average joe can not save and stop someone from it. If someone has made up their mind to kill them-self then it’s almost impossible to stop them.

I feel so bad for Christine Chubbuck. She was going through many issues that regular individuals go through, unfortunately: Health problems, unrequited romantic feelings, and feeling out of place. This combined with her demanding and stressful job was more for her than she could handle. She saw beyond the numbers and benefits from reporting violent and fear-mongering stories: She had gone through another loss of innocence by realizing the lack of humanity behind nonchalantly reporting "blood and guts" for the world to see. Her entire life and career revolved around loss and fear: Fear of not finding love, not having kids, and living in a helplessly violent and bloodthirsty world. Any glimpse of potential optimism left for her faded slowly as she never saw progress in her protests and demands for reporting on how to make the community a stronger place for all. Unfortunately, she took her life to teach this lesson to millions, but I am afraid her death might have been in vain because we continue to live like this as a society today.

The film was shot on land that had been used as a nuclear testing location - this resulted in several cast and crew members being diagnosed with cancer in the block of time that followed the filming of the movie.
