I was confused as hell. There was a board with a kabillion choices, like a fast food menu.. They said the same to me - what do you usually get? Whatever the guy has. It's been legal in Canada for a few years. Nothing bad has happened. I swear its the big drug companies that are trying to keep it illegal in the US. I get 2 vape cartridges - one to keep my back pain down but not make me too wasted. The other knocks me out at night. All non-addictive and as effective as the handful of pills I used to take every day. ..

The way you tell these stories from life is just, so oddly soothing to listen to. Also, not only should you have a separate computer, that computer shall never ever be connected to the same network as any network you work on and preferably only to a non GPS equipped GSM router and only used far far away from where you live and never go that secret place with anything that can be tracked in any sort of way. And regarding social engineering, I know of a few hackers having done some odd stuff that is only possible in the country I live in... And they might be interested talking about it to you. Caught and sentenced served for it so no secret, but still quite an amazing way of social engineering...

1:50 To be fair its been said multiple times that they believe Alex was just the fall guy for the operation and people had always elluded to the fact of them being russian based. Alex got caught but he was also not the sole fouder. There was another admin who was on the team and had an online presence on the forums and some of the subreddits who goes by the name of DeSnake. Who also happens to be of russian orgin after diggin into his persona and if not from russian he is from a soviet union era country lol. Not only do i believe the fall story as alex made quite a few opsec mistakes that a true market operator wouldnt be making. There is also a reason DeSnake didnt get picked up when they went after alphabay and if you notice they seem to kinda leave his name out when talking about alphabay its like they are downplaying his role and hoping that people forget about him something. Not only does he have great opsec he is also an incredible market programmer and it was because of him that alphabay was where it was. He was able to make sure the markets were always online and running smooth and efficent he even helped program or maybe even just him but eitther way they created an anti ddos program which allowed the market to be online during a time when markets were being knocked offline multiple times a day and some were completely unaccessable for days or weeks at a time and the only way they were able to have some up time was to pay the hackers an insane amount weekly ( we are talking north of 15-20k a WEEK for a market to operate and he had multiple under attack) until they developed that work around and then other markets even began to employ their ddos shield. So not only did he make sure the markets run smooth he was also the one that coded the market from the ground up which was another reason alphabay was harder to attack and hack then other markets as most at that time used kind of a cookie cutter setup so when they were able to exploit one market they could then use that attack against mulitple others that were just rearranged clones. Also a few months back DeSnake redid alphabay from the ground up and literally started from a fresh slate and introduced the market both as an onion address and he coded the market to also be able to run on the more secure ip2 network as well. the market also still has the same rules that apply to any hacking or malware as they did before. The rules dont allow any products or services that would attack any countries that are in the russian federation if thats the right organisation i may be wrong on that name but basically Russia and any of its currents buddies (old USSR and still wish they were). Between him being a key individual in the market behind the scenes (they were aware of how much DeSnake did and how key he was for the market to run they had tons of communications between them when they siezed all of alex things) and he was never really investigated and as far as i can remeber and tell they dont even actually know who the person behind the screen name even is and all that leads be to believe that they are fully aware that connection pathway if they followed it would terminate straight in Russia. DeSnake was smart and let Alex think he had the reigns and played off his want to be CHAD persona thinking he was player and pimp and shit he knew that alex craved attention so why not let him. its the same thing El Mayo did with El Chapo... let everyone sing his name and praise him and dont mention me because they are going to go after the one making the news and rumors. Once they were getting close Desnake backed off and they were on to alex. Once they siezed the site and got alex im sure Desnake was sitting in russia laughing to himself. He took a few million and went on vacation for several months while the media was having a frenzy with alphabay and its "creator" or its "leader" who was captured and then eventually commited sucidide. He knew the people he was partnered with are serious people and they would go after his family if they thought he snitched so he took his life to protect the life of his wife. All the media buzz dies down and some other markets broken up through being busted or exit scamming and once the heat has finally cooled off we get a notice on Dread with desnake confirming his identity (some still think its fishy and he might be law enforcement but he make a new market from the ground up and he was also never picked up or anything and with him being in russia he has absolutly no worries about outside Law) and saying that he was restarting alphabay and he would be recoding it from the ground up. So as of this moment [May 5,2022] Alphabay is fully functional and chugging along, You can create an account in a matter of a few minutes and be ording in under 10min if you know how to setup PGP. So im confortable believing the story that Alex was basically a paid fall guy, killed himself to protect his wife and kid and probably have them taken care of for life, real owners let the source code go said fuck it and took a vaction until all the heat died down and the world moved on from alphabay. Came back and programmed a whole new market from the ground up completely in house and its deployed both on TOR as well as ip2 and chugging along like nothing had happened. Law enforcement arrested exactly who they were supposed to. Its all part of an extremely well thought out plan. Shows how good the person that organized the program is and shows hes playing chess while LEO is still trying to figure out how to set up checkers.

I use a Tor Browser within a virtual machine. So used to Kali Linux being my vm. This and Joe Rogan are my favorite podcasts. Also, never use a VPN while using Tor Browser.

@@Cured_Ham Well, that's not that far off.. and it seems to become law in the EU in the future. To our authorities you are sus, if you try to hide something, as they are the "good" authorities and therefore you can trust them. There is always the st*pid argument, that you do not need to care about privacy, if you have nothing to hide. Better get used to this kind of authoritarian tendencies.

You have multiple server problems at the same time that they're just happens to be this ridiculously over the top accident outside of your house? It's like a badly written spy movie. I'd be out the back door in a heartbeat and I would have everyone of my devices set up for self-destruction
