Let me remind you because you've seem to have forgotten, a Gladiator is a midsize truck. These reviewers constantly compare them with full size truck stats. It has a V6 because it's a midsize truck. It has a smaller bed because it is a midsize truck. It only tows up to 7600lbs because it's a midsize truck. The Tacoma, Ranger and Colorado are all midsize trucks running V6s and similar stats. These are the vehicles you should be comparing the Gladiator to. If you want the best offroad capable truck buy the Gladiator if you have the money because yes they are overpriced. If you don't care about the offroad capabilities buy any of the other midsize trucks. Me personally I'm actually going to the dealer today to trade in my F150 for either the Rubicon or the Mojave because I no longer need a full size truck and the Gladiator is a mid size truck and more.

Right on the money. Im thinking this kind of content is just for attention comparing apples to oranges. I had a chevy silverado 1500 and upgraded to a gladiator last summer. you wont regret it. Ill take a gladiator over a tacoma any day.

I hated my 2015 Tacoma when I had it. It absolutely sucked for off-roading. The Electronic controlled transfer case always gave me problems and exactly the wrong time. And it took a silly amount of modifications to make 33s work properly. If not for the price I would get a gladiator today @@jayvee6279

Exactly right .. now I will say overpriced. I mean .. it has two straight axles .. that’s 50’s tech but .. I love them. You just need to know what your getting for what your needs really are. This review is complete nonsense.

Gladiators are absolutely awesome. No other truck can compete with it off-road!

The whole idea of this video is to compare a stock JT to a modified JT. Not giving the stock JT respect it deserves. I have owned Mojave and I think stock Gladiators are great midsize trucks. And I plan to get another.

I agree. I'm running my '23 JTM topless and doorless right now and love. It's smiles per gallon. Want more pep in your step for your Gladiator regear it
If you want a truck, get a truck. If you want a jeep, get a jeep. If you want the objectively best performing midsize truck on the planet, get a gladiator rubicon.
Why keep comparing the Gladiator to full size pickups rather than other mid-size pickups?
I started to watch this video because it was a YT recommended and I see why your begging for subs because this video is garbage. Nobody buys a Gladiator to tow goosenecks. We buy them to have Jeep off-road performance and use the bed sometimes. I load mine up with dump truck tires and even a new can shield for my dump truck body so they do what they need to.
I love my Gladiator.
Calls the Ridgeline the worst truck but then it’s the only midsize truck that can actually fit 4x8 flat on the bed and not on the wheel wells. It’s a great truck. Gladiator is pretty nice for a midsize too
Just got a '23 Gladiator Rubicon with a deep discount and it's great. The bed is great for camping, not for hauling construction and lumber. It's great for what it's made for. No dark truth about it, just a negative attitude.
There's a lot of drivel on YT lately, and this is no exception. The JT is a great mid-size truck and the ONLY bedded vehicle on the market that offers top/door off. This is your opinion, and you're entitled to it.

@@SFJ4x4 Yes, I did.
The Gladiator must be one hell of a truck if it's only a mid sized truck that's constantly being compared to a full sized truck. I'm happy with my Gladiator Rubicon.
stepped down from running Ram crew cabs to one of these three years ago. love my gladiator, pisses off the Toyota TURD people and the wine ass Jeep people.:)
Almost a year in to owning my 2023 Mojave and I don't regret it whatsoever. I had no illusions about what it is. It fits exactly what I needed. A daily driver that could occasionally cart stuff around in the bed. Pull small trailers for my toys. Take the top off when I go to the beach. Have a little fun off-road. And seat my family of 4 comfortably. It's like a Swiss Army knife of midsize trucks. I'm perfectly happy with it.
Carries all my camping stuff just fine . If i need a lowes or home depot run just hook up my tandem axle 16ft trailer , problem solved …
2020 gladiator owner here bought mine with 4200 miles on it old man owned it fully loaded rubicon for 35000 best decision I’ve ever made
Get a Gladiator with a Ma Tow package 7,500 pounds. No issues towing trailers

Rubicon doesn’t have a max tow package. And the most a rubicon can tow is 6800 because of all the added equipment. That is the tow package on a gasser with auto trans

@Siggrim the Rubicon actually has a 7000 tow rating. It's only 200lbs but that's what the correct max tow rating.
Fits and tows my utility ATV just fine and i came from a full size pickup definitely a great midsize truck
Those upgrades will be 🔥. Looking forward to the updates!!
For a video saying it sucks, you did a good job of making me want to buy one.
I’m on my second Gladiator. First was an Overland and I traded up to a Rubicon. I got an offer I couldn’t refuse, which is another benefit…resale value. Before I got my first one, I was in a Ram Big Horn Crew Cab. Loved that truck, but the lease was up. As much as I loved it, out of three years of ownership, I used it to its full capacity twice. I loved the ride, the interior size, the comfort and of course the Hemi. I was wanting a Gladiator but looked at the Taco and Colorado. I felt I got more with the Gladiator just because I was back in a Jeep and I could strip it down. I was concerned about the break over angle, departure angle and all that, but I’m not using it that way. If I was making a living with a truck, no way this would be my first, second…fifteenth choice. I’ve moved my sister, my daughter, hauled mulch, lumber (there’s a trick with the tailgate cable that gives the 4X8 capability), I’ve taken on the beach and a trail ride (Central Florida, so nothing overly impressive). Basically I’m saying what you’re saying. It works for me. Big truck is overkill for my purpose, I want the capabilities of a Wrangler but I’m willing to sacrifice some of those for the extra cargo space. Cheers!
Jeep needs to have two main engines for the Wrangler and Gladiator. The 3.6 V6 and a at least 5 liter V8. Most of these vehicles are modified that adds weight and height and they are not aerodynamic. The 3.6 V6 just doesn’t cut it.
respectfully disagree that the Gladiator sucks-that needs to be understood when buying one-but for how you drive. I don’t need nor want a full sized truck; had them and they have their place-so does the gladiator-again, buy what you want for your needs. I live near the blue ridge mountains so lots of great trail riding but also use the gladdy as my daily driver. Have complete sets of tires for the type of driving and change as needed. My Gladiator was purchased for my needs. larger sized hauls are solved with a trailer. I also love to trail and camp and with some of the trails around here-good luck getting one of the full sized buses through some of the places where we go. The Jeep also has the largest array of parts to make it fit a large variety of user needs or wants. Love the channel-good details!

I live near the Cherokee national forest in eastern Tennessee and the majority of people (other than half ton/dually trucks) here drive Jeeps and 4Runners. We do have a plethora of off-road trails. Truly a beautiful place.
I’m on my second gladiator.80th anniversary to a Mojave.I love these trucks. No desire to ride around in a full size truck and barely use it.soo dumb. I’ve had a full size Harley in my gladiator bed🤷🏻♂️ Top and doors come off. Nothing better..could use more power is all.

I just purchased a 2022 with 33000 miles for $30500. Try finding a Ram, Silverado or f150 for that price. Does the f150 even come with a V8 option anymore? So far, i love my gladiator. It's what i need for what i do.

Yes the Ford does come with a V8. Ford has said F it, The V8 is staying. Whereas Fiat has killed the Hemi. And Chevy is keeping the V8 in trucks and the vettes.
If you want a prerunner that can tow get a gladiator
I bought jeep 2021 gladiator I love this truck! I love off road on this!
25% off now
Just started watching this video and why is he comparing this to a fullsize truck and not a tacoma or frontier?
I guess the ranger, Colorado, Tacoma, and Nissan frontier all suck too? None of them do what a full size truck does. The jeep is best in class towing, best approach angle and most capable off-road, and it does it topless and door-less if you choose, and water fords better then all the others too. This is literally the dumbest review I have ever seen. This isn’t a serious auto channel with ridiculous comparisons like this.
Love mine
My 40 milestars are bead balanced good to about 65 mph. Nobody locally will balance anything larger than a 35 🤷♂️
Well if you do a better research about the gladiator with tow max package with 4.10 axle ratio, but wishing the jeep should’ve offer 6 feet size bed like Toyota Tacoma have two different size and meanwhile all of gladiators will only come in 5 feet bed.
The problem is that your "Jeep" "truck" is neither. It's a 4-door stationwagon without a trunk lid.
Mid size truck got all the same bed length. 5 ft.
You seem to be a bit confused. It’s a midsize truck. The bed size is in the same category of all the others in this space. A midsize truck isn’t built to haul a sheet of plywood or two a ton of weight… any of them… not just the gladiator. I appreciate varying perspectives but at least ground your views in something reasonable.
I love my gladiator its a life style not a work truck
So you are saying it is not full size truck. Duh!
Non sense. I love mine. Its not ment to be a utility truck. Not to mention its 4x4 which half of trucks.are not. Sure id rather have a ram or f150, but at 80k+?? I will keep my jeep
Boo hoo. I can't use it for my contractor job. I guess I'll have to get any of the other trucks that are built for me and not off roaders 😢😢😢😢😢 Give me a break
Total BS review this is a small truck and it can do more than any small truck in the small truck segment, not to mention the removable top, and yes, you can get an absolutely banging deal on one of these units. It’s not hard to do. Not to mention it has a naturally aspirated V6 no turbo bullshit and true truck suspension all the way around with solid axles. There’s literally nothing else on the market like it. Do your research buddy you know not what you speak the brand-new Tacoma 65 grand.
I balance my tyres with beet juice and water
I will stick with my Tacoma
Bro lost me in his opening line😂 I wanted a jeep and I needed a truck. So I got both! Fuckin slow ass
A lot of hard talk from a dude w a soft top.
mike sucks. 3.6 knocking like a Mercedes diesel just embarrassing to drive. how many rocks can you climb to make such a bad vehicle worth the embarrassment???
Dude...1000% agree with you on most of this. I get people like their glads...but it's not a good truck...its not a good jeep...all comprises are comprises...not good at anything
Holy **** yall are laughable with these videos. Why you even put time into this is beyond me. Have you every considered how subjective this subject even is?! Do you know how many jeep gladiator owners there are that absolutely love it!? That don't even need to make pointless KZread videos about subjective observations. You even mention disinformation.....un real. Good luck bro.
