At first, Melissa lost a bet with Hans. So he dared her to do a cover with him. Then they submitted a demo to Napalm. Napalm was very enthusiastic and asked if they would pull out a full album. That’s how the whole thing begun, according to Melissa

Ooh, I know I'll like this. Everything Melissa touches is gold, even her earlier bands and solo content. By solo content I mean everything from slightly produced music to sitting down with an acoustic guitar to singing with a piano.

Harp needs more Gain. Srs... distorted harp sounds killer... huge sinusoial waveforms are well loved by gain and distro. In that final harsh section, I love how far forward they bring Melissa's voice. I thought it was a push, for sure.

I'd say it's a nailed-on certainty that Patty or Michalina from Eluveitie will appear at some stage. Everything sounds better with extra Hurdy-Gurdy.

Oh yeah, this combo was epic. Power, folk, metal and Melissas vocals. Perfect 🤩. Have you heard the Italian symphonic metal band Ancient Bards? If you are in the mood for a great song, their In my arms are so damn good. It has strings, piano, harmonies, bass and guitars are amazing and Sara Squadrini has an amazing vocals. There are also an interesting vocalmix at the end of the song, wonder what you would say about that…? 😀👍

Sadly nobody reacts to them if you don't pay them a lot money on their onlyfans or whatever (i tried it so often, but no reaction anywhere). So far the only one i saw was Chase Carneson and he loved "In my Arms", just like i do. Search for "chase carneson in my arms"

Another band, whats with Ad Infinitum ? Whatever .. when its like only 5% growls and rest clear voice instead of 95% growls i'm in. Just using growls very sparse for me makes it special and meaningful while constanly growling (like in Rage of Light) only annoys me. But of course, thats just my personal opinion.
