When i lag out of everything due to something i cant control and hacks make it so i can actually play the game then ill use them. Its not a horrible excuse when i only get 800kbps on good days.

I've played this game for almost 7 years. I've constantly seen and called people out for hacking. Recently losing over 10 6/8+ characters hasn't even made me think "Maybe I should put the game on easy mode." I don't find any reason to hack on a permadeath game. People will say "It's because of the lag. If I download this client that will auto-nexus, shoot for me, use my abilities for me, do virtually EVERYTHING but move and type to other people, at LEAST there's less lag." Maybe you don't use EVERY hack provided, but if you're using a hacked client, you're already breaking the rules. Why stop there? I'd personally say almost nobody (maybe just a FEW. Not even 100 people, and 100 is a high estimation) would download the hacked clients just for lag reduction. For the people saying "I've talked to other people who only use it for lag reduction." Can you see their computer files? Did you watch them download their clients? Anybody can lie to you. Especially if you just say "Do you hack?" "No, I only downloaded the lag reduction." "Okay, yeah I believe you." No sense of doubt. Then 5 minutes later that same kid can get shotgunned from O2 and somehow nexus at the "perfect time." What's the point in playing a permadeath game if you have death disabled? Where's the excitement? "I won't die because my program will save me, so all I gotta do is loot." I honestly think that makes the game SO BORING. I'm so glad that over 3700 people had their accounts hacked. They honestly deserve it since probably at least 90% of those people won't even play the game until the next hacked client comes out. When I see players get sat on by a boss and just so happen to nexus RIGHT before taking any damage (the big oof sounds of taking damage occur, but they don't flash, die, or anything) then yeah, I think some (all) of these players deserve what they got. Not to mention OF COURSE the people who got caught will be saying "I didn't use the mods that made the game easier. I'm going to blame it on the creators of the game and say their game is too laggy." If you're willing to download a modded client, you probably know FAIR WELL that you're going against the Terms of Service. The thing is, since this game IS targeted toward a younger audience (Not saying like 8 year olds, but I mean 12-16 is a noticable age range in the game) it's not like the players have a sense of remorse. If they get banned? Okay, move on to the next game or make a new account and do it again. So like I said before, what's stopping them from enabling all the hacks and telling people "I only use the lag-reducing mods." Next thing you know people will start saying "The death screen is too laggy so I had to use autonexus." It's such a shame when you can watch almost any video on KZread of Realm of the Mad God and if you just pick a character, pay attention to them for a bit, you can probably notice how many people ACTUALLY use aimbots. I'm talking about long distance classes circling a boss, yet their shots are DIRECTLY on target, no matter how they're moving. (It's easiest to notice with a class like Archer using Coral Bow.) Or in a dungeon when their shots shoot from a 45 degree angle (If it were 360 degrees, 0 being above you), to a 250 degree angle, back to like a 78 degree angle all in the span of a second. Last thing to say, I knew this player CinemaHD. Me and my brother would ALWAYS expose him for hacking, yet he REFUSED that he ever downloaded a modded client. The way we caught him (over 2 times) was when safe walking was a shitty concept. (I'll explain slightly.) You can't walk through lava or any tile that hurts you. One of the earliest versions of this hack wouldn't even let you walk through lava at ALL (while later versions would let you hold shoot to move through lava). So my brother and I would go into an abyss, and if we'd notice CinemaHD (sometimes we would follow him in, but since it was a somewhat small server, usually we ran into him), we would rush a few rooms, sit in the middle of the lava and say "tp" or "troom" and when he'd teleport, he'd sit on the same tile of lava until he had to nexus. He still refused ever using mods. My moral of the story. Don't believe people who say they don't hack.

I have been playing this game for many many years. I hacked at the start to try and learn how to play the game without losing all my process right away, but as soon as I understood how to not die I stopped. But the one thing I never understood about the community is why they're so against auto-nexus and such. It doesn't affect other players at all, if I feel that the game is more fun when I don't have to lose a character i've spent weeks making and it doesn't decrease the amount of fun other players are having, then why make it such a big deal? It's not as if hacks make you do more damage to bosses, or prevent other players from getting soulbound. Heck, back in the day when you could still no clip through sprite worlds, I loved when people would do that in the same sprite as me because I could just tp to them and cut my sprite world farming time in half. @@jllemin4 unity is in open beta. All bots and hackers are still using flash, since that client won't be down until unity is completely stable and out of beta.

This got me thinking. What if the mastermind behind all the RWT stuff actually turned out to be deca. They sell items legit for gold. But also for real money cheaper so that the deal seems WORTH IT. Or what if the RWT masterminds work for deca. Lets just say they have a contract or something that they get 60% of all profits back. And the dude gets to keep 40% for not taking legal action

I've known that Kabam/Deca allows RWT for years now, since back when kabam introduced items to nexus. I say I know because it's a FACT and not a conspiracy. If the company was not profiting off this do you think they would allow RWT to exist? You could FILE a case against whoever owns these RWT sites and easily sue their ass, you think someone else profiting off your game isn't enough of a reason to bring them to court? In the real world, my friend, people get sued for doing ALOT less than RWT so if Deca/Kabam wanted to they could easily stop RWT. But they don't want to, because they obviously have an agreement to get the profits back. It's a simple business move, once you look at other, more sophisticated games, you see how blatant this is.

Good video, but I don’t think you addressed another large aspect of the underground world of RotMG: Fame bots and Fame trains, which peaked a few months ago. Many of the current top players/legends have abused fame bots to get where they are now. This is where most top ‘elite’ players are concerned with, well, at least back when fame trains were a thing.

To add onto something, according to some people, there was an exploit with gold purchasing. This ties into the RWT aspect because some shops actually sold gold accounts. The main reason I know this was because my old guild founder was banned for this (I never actually knew he did this until he was perma banned). There were accounts that had anywhere from 7k gold (the 50 dollar option) to 48k gold (300 dollars worth). From what I was told, there was some kind of exploit that allowed them to get a huge amount of gold for small amounts of money. (This is what I have been told, the more likely option was that it was credit card fraud)

Charziken There was, but DECA either figured out how they're made, or watched gold on accounts they deemed suspicious and banned them. Anyone who I knew that had access to those services never lost their main however.

I don't think cheating is a problem as long as you don't hurt other people's exprience. Afterall this is not a pvp game.

The amount of damage you have to deal to get sb is minimal, the only way a hacker will truly "steal" your loot is if they have a massive multi-box, other than that it is near impossible.

I've been playing Rotmg for so long (7 years) and still didn't know about dungeon running services. Great job :)

DECA could patch hacks but because majority of people do hack, so if they did almost the entire community would quit meaning that they will lose thousands of dollars and go bankrupt, DECA knows that a lot of people hack.

Some of us, grew up in the 80s and 90s when games INCLUDED cheats and cheat modes. Many of us became obssessed with those cheats and cheat modes and found those to be more exciting than the game itself. For me, I don't hack or cheat to gain advantage over other players, I hack/cheat because to me the game is more enjoyable when I can explore and not worry about pointless time sinks (Permadeath is a time sink) I don't have a lot of time, so when I play a video game, I want instant gratification, afterall I play video games for entertainment purposes, not for a career.

it's not about hack in the 90's, in this game hack is a way to counter the perma death (but you still can die), with hack it's like playing a normal game and it doesn't affect others player so that's good

If you need an idea for a video you could research the development of different dungeons and how interworkings of them have changed over time and/or superstition around them has grown or died off (i.e. mad lab chem tables).

I’ve been playing rotmg for about 6 years it’s been on and off and it’s a really hard game to let go for me one of the most troubling times was the multiboxers they made the game no rewarding to me seeing everyone exploding enemies and having tons of stacked characters really made me want to quit I could have only dreamed the amount of fun I would have had if deca had owned the game a couple years ago makes me sad now that the only reason I left was cause boredom and but deca made the game so much better for me by updating it but I’m going to have to quit cause of a couple of reasons 1st deca has made the game way way way to easy to 8/8 a character white bags aren’t rewarding and neither are tops I wish I wish they would add end game items maybe increase the levels a character could get and I hope they continue to add more characters 2nd is cheaters it might be hard to believe but rotmg has so so so many cheaters

RotMG should be thankful for the people who made this game-changing effect of making duping,cheating,hacking for ''simple gamers''. And a big fu to the people who think that the ''clean'' way is the only way to go, it's not that simple .. right or wrong in this videogame, and remember.. only death fish go with the flow. if you are a lh-running boy/girl, and especially if you are a mellenial+ and say that you know how this game works, please think of the way how the ''illegal'' side of RotMG changed this game, ask yourself what if this didn't happen? Can you imagine? The ones with the most big-talk about what is right or wrong have probably never seen a UT-weekend or have never wear a Amulet of Resurrection, but they do know everything about RotMG's past, learn how to map-read and can rush lh and get the ''best items''. you are less then the shit under my shoes. RotMG would have been bleeding to death without, and the real ''mad god(s)'' who gave this game energy go up in smoke. Amen.

Dying in this game is a flat out disaster , that is why so many hacks exist .

I used to multibox a different game (I won't say the name) and I must say it's quite entertaining to completely tear through anything you attack... even if it's not supposed to work that way. I've also considered selling stuff/supplying pots to RWT shops in the past, but it never went anywhere, and even if I had, I would have likely put all the money I gained from the sale back into the game to get more storage space. Thinking back, at least I had an excuse for cheating: a spinal cord injury that made playing the game legitimately hard. I don't know why other people do it though

Can’t forget about the first death resurrection dupe. If you made a new account and traded with someone right as you died you could be revived and both people would have the items. My friend who found this dupe was banned because he duped more ub hps than had ever been dropped in the game. The dupe was found at about the same time as the shatters released.

I don't entirely blame dupers because there are items that might take years to get but when you die it is gone forever.

why dont you stun properly with the knight? you had 5mp pots. with a legendary pet.

I can't wait for unity! Really hoping for some lag reduction. I didn't even know hacking existed in realm. Woah. That seems like it would take a lot of the fire out of the game. I've had a really good day in realm today, got my first t11 and t12 stuff from high level dungeons, instead of getting it by luck from random handouts. I feel super accomplished and now I feel a lot more experienced at realm. Before I didn't dare to attempt an abby, lab or sew, but now I can do them! (provided theres at least one other person around) with hacks I can't help but think it would drain out a lot of the fun. When you die it's super sad, but it makes the game wayyyy more exciting. I'm really excited for unity, because I get bad lag from even the urgles. I also get pretty bad rubber banding.

Sounds like you interviewed some random dude, simply based on the fact it wasn't a key logger (Which was supported by the people who run the site that CC is released on), this is known as true also because its supported by the fact that Steam users were not getting hacked, Steam users dont need to enter passwords, emails/login details, but still managed to get their account hacked.

Some RWT websites funneling money back into realm keep the game active with money guaranteed to come in from those who actually spend money on the game in return. If not then it keeps players who buy items from them more active cause its cheaper to buy from other websites (esp rare items like skins). So ofc with this cash flow and increase in active users DECA wouldn't outright get rid of this near flawless system.

Hear me out: Duping would not be a problem if they would release it on disc for all platforms. Solo play. I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

i remember when i got my first life pot back in the day, before i had it, i got almost no random trades but walking around nexus with one in your inventory used to make so many people try to trade you, just goes to show how many people hack in this game

And now they did an update with stupid tp stun effect.

Hopefully unity allows Deca to have a bigger grip on realm

I'm currently considering making a similar rotmg video since I started playing the game again. mostly about what I dislike about the current game. 1. St items 2. The games difficulty 3. Events UT Why do people spend there life pots for 1 extra defense rather then drink the life pots? It's so you look cool and people think damn that guy is decked out. So what do you think when you see somebody with an ST set or item? P2W even if you got it from a dungeon u think P2W. I'd honestly be ok with these items being tradeable because they wouldn't be considered "rare". If I got the ST helmet from ivory dragon I'd be really happy but there's also a bunch of other feelings I'd get. People are gonna discredit my skill because they think I spent money and I'd also think this is really rare and cool but somebody that hasn't even played the game could have this... that's an awful feeling I don't want to farm lod constantly to look like I've spent money. 2. The game is extremely easy I haven't died this year and only once last year including an alt account I play on. On my main acc I have a rare pet maxed and on my alt account I have an unmaxed uncommon pet. I can promise you I don't cheat I have videos and I don't mind sharing my steam account profile names. The "hard" dungeons are lost halls and shatters and both aren't worth doing or are challenging in the right way. When tomb first came out soloing it felt fantastic it was hard yet fair and the reward was pretty good till this game it is still fun and challenging yet fair. But w/o a good pet it's way to challenging to do these dungeons solo and the rewards are not worth it. No matter how good the pet the chance of dying is not worth the loot. Note I said chance when I do these dungeons it's like well gotta nexus that sucks like if I had no choice other then that it was unlucky that I had to nexus. On my alt account I haven't died yet and I've been playing on it for 2 years with an uncommon pet I haven't done any dungeons harder them tomb other then a few shatters and I progressed through the game rapidly I just started trading on the 23 because of vault space. There is no reason to do these dungeons my gear is really good I'm maxed on all my char and I have an uncommon pet and I consider it all a breeze that should say something. 3. Event whites. I love and hate the idea of event whites. First im gonna start with why i lime them. there extremely rare cool unique items. Now I'm gonna explain why I dislike them. Gonna sum it up short cuz I gtg. Bosses are weak and there are an insane amount of people that do them. In motmg rn there doing an ice cave event that drops ogmur and they recently did an increased event white drop rate. Just imagine having an ogmur from b4 this event it's not rare it's not cool anymore it's just like the ST everyone's gonna think he got lucky in the event. I thought the entire idea of the pumpkin jugg helm was to not make people that already earned that extremely rare item feel bad. Speaking of ogmur it sucks I'm sorry if you don't like that I'm saying that but it does its unique and changes the class tho that's why I like it. I think all event whites should be like that. Sorry for the rushed 3rd point and all the other points. I can add more if you are interested but I gtg thank you for your time if you red this.

I recently downloaded crazy client, and well not gonna lie, most of its functions seemed like additions to the game rather than hack, for example making other players transparent so you could see, or teletransporting to a player with just a click . The only thing that i think would be useful would be the autonexus, you can disable status effects, but most of them are marked red indicating that it might disconnect when getting hit with such status. I deleted the client later because well it Was Boring and it served me no purpose.

I really hope you don't end up getting banned for putting something like this out. I emailed DECA Support about a year ago with a video clip (w/ me explaining everything) to expose a guys main account that was trying to RWT. I shortly after got banned saying that "I was RWT".

I considered talking about private servers but I really know absolutely nothing about them... I played a little of the private server called Revenge of the Fallen but didn't really get into it at all. Maybe if some private server creators came to me, I'd talk about them, but currently it's something I'm not interested in too much.

You know you could always just compile the source yourself if you'e that worried, that way you can check the source for keyloggers. That's what I do, and then I update the client every patch myself. It's not hard

@@kazikoFPV Not that hard for someone that knows what they're looking for. Alot of leechers know 0 code and aren't IT inclined at all. A lot of good game hack forums do their own code analysis before allowing it to be distributed, thankfully for the leechers.

I run 10/20 bots at one time and then transfer the items to my main legit account. i can run so many is because i have no need to load guis, etc. its an easy way to get 8/8 and feed power. (having 10-20 bots follow you is an okay way to farm fame)

Tbh i quit game bcs cheaters still willa get better itmes than me 0 fun from game

one of the reasons ppl started hacking because its fucking p2w unless you have no life and grind for months just to get decent personally I played it for 6 years got rich, bored started using hacks for fun it really changes the games in a good way and in bad way sometimes. I think as long as your hack doesn't affect other its fine for me beside its a PVE game at the end and if you want to show your skill just record your gameplay and upload on youtube if that concerns you

being a supplier for rwt is very easy, they just dont need items very often. Good vid tho. Multibox and duping are the only hacks/exploits i detest.

No reason to hack now that unity is coming out. There will be no excuses for "DURR PERFOMRNACE BETTER!1"

Deca only cares if money is involved like for rotf, they tried to to a collaboration with them to allow them to use some of the sprites until they could do a complete wipe of the original ones but nooo they got a cais and desist and now the game is running on nothing to remake every single sprite

Deca doesn't try their best to stop hacking. If they banned that many players, then they would lose a lot of money. They only ban players that make it obvious to set an example and RWT because that is income going the wrong way. Hacking provides an optimized client, true lovers of perma-death (like me) enjoy the rebuilding process. That being said not everyone enjoys this and cheats the system. I just don't enjoy dying to bullshit, with a client that runs the game 10X as smooth I don't need to worry about that. People who utilize the hacked client to its full potential are a sad bunch. I have no gripe with RWT or hackers but I do not understand why you would want to play a game were you could do nothing all day except /TP

yeah... honestly, it's a combination of the two, I think. People losing stuff they bought (reason #1 I don't normally buy anything except storage space) or not having enough storage to save stuff they don't want to lose on death. They could probably do to make things a little easier on F2P players, such as adding tradable gold packages (something I suggested to support based on another game I played), but permadeath is what really pushes the difficulty over the top.

Simply this, you worked hardon reaching 10k base Fame and want to tell the whole world. But then you see Fame botters getting 10k bf in a day. Let that sink in. A person who uses hacks can do things that you can do 10x faster.

I've never used auto aim or any anti debuffs, but you have no idea how useful full screen is. It makes the game much more playable

@@scotttemplar8740 how it is same vision range? I see clear difference between normal zoom and fullscreen, i can easily see bees charging on me from distance so i have more time for reaction, it doesnt really making you better player imo, game is just better to play

I miss rotmg but even if i could play it i dont think id fully return... Rotmg is becoming one of those retro games that only a very small community plays so... Eventually it WILL die out like all things do.. Maybe thats why deca doesnt pay too nuch attention to it. But hey at least it was fun while it lasted right?
