I remember playing tableturf with my grandma when I was just 5 years old. She would always beat me, but it still remains as some of my favorite moments from my childhood. Thank you fragzz for keeping the spirit of this game alive.

Id always play tableturf with my classmates, cant believe it finally got a digital version, pity you need splatoon 3 and an online subscription

"it's free!" 2 seconds later: "you'll probably need a decent amount of equipment for it"

I'm a comp tableturf player and I stopped grinding with autopass at about level 525 and that was before this software was made, thanks for making this video on this cool program!

This is so janky but at the same time an absolute big brain idea. props to the script maker. Also amazing video covering that.

If you play normally and have 3 minutes per game, it will take you about 1240 hours to go from level 0 to 100. At 5 hours a day that would be about 8,3 months. I'm at level 94 and I hate it, but I want to earn the badge the hard way.

Given how I only did grind to Level 50 for the NPCs and how I plan to get the Callie and Annie card sleeves, getting to Level 999 requires tons of dedication that even I wouldn’t be capable of doing so. 😅

I feel you on losing interest in the game. Even if you’ll be dropping it next year, I wish you the best.

I got myself to level 50 before the level cap increase, and after some level ups while getting card sleeves after the increase. Around August, I got my hands on an 8bitdo Controller (tired of mashing with brush) since it has Turbo functions, but also Macros So since like, August 12th, I've had it set up to lose, with it running most days after hours and when I'm at work, etc. It's been about 3 months now and last I checked I am currently at level 765. When people mean this takes ages, it really does haha.

Wow. I rarely play tableturf, but I do have a rank around 44. So... I'm only 3 badges from 100 badges in Splatoon 3... Depending on my shop rng I could get them soon. 4 star Inkbrush, Level 100, and 30 barazushi stars.

it's technically the most expensive badge also considering you had to buy things to obtain it.

I literally grinded without cheats to level 457….

The part at 5:12 is so painful because the maximum number of bits you can hold at once is 999.. So basically you just wasted a ton of bits. Hopefully you don't care about holographic cards that much😭

Reached rank 50 several months before the level cap increase. Playing against character NPCs to have wins against: Baby Jelly level 1: 333 Level 2: 332 Level 3: 331 And gradually decreases every few characters. I'm on rank 67 Because I have all the cards I want or need, I'm using the bits to freshen each card from 1 to whatever arbitrary number the game stops adding table turf cards. From hero shot replica to the splash-o-matic are all holo.

Bear in mind thats 875 hours of running on the switch which i imagine isnt good for the console besides id rather stick with my 10x wins 333% hazard level cleared and top 500 badge as they all mean something to me

This badge looks like upgrade all your cards into holographic cards.

Aha the ‘I did it for content’ badge

I just got the Dojo Champion Badge today for beating all Dojo Opponents on lvl 3 once which took me around 45 hours, and in all honestly, Tableturf gets so mundane and boring really fast, that i totaly feel you using a script and a Circuit Board for grinding for the 999 lvl Badge. I dont see a normal Human being, spend THIS MUCH Time on a Minigame. so in my personal opinion, the way you acquired the lvl 999 Badge isnt cheating the way you did it, its an external requierment. I wish Nintendo would have put more thought into the whole Badge System because most of them feel really grindy. By the Time people get to the upper three diggit levels either be in Tableturf or in Splat level, there will be most likely be a new Splatoon title released before anyone got them in legitimate means, which makes the max level Badges for example quite non realistic for anyone to archieve normaly.

I would really love an in depth tutorial on how to set this up

I have only played tableturf once, and i destroyed the computer. I feel like if i were to play Splatoon 3 for a few years playing a couple times a day i would get it without realizing i was anywhere close, and yes, i plan on doing this, that way instead of going insane.

I'm on Tableturf Level 45 and after watching this am definitely going to try and get this badge legitimately

It is awesome how many things an arduino can do. I have fixed some expensive machines that didn't want to run because their electronic cards just burned out and their replacement were just extremely expensive, and they didn't do what a simple arduino could do, and its so cheap compared to the factory specific electronic card for those specific machines.

I’m currently using the auto pass one (and I have been for like a month or two) I got to level 90 manually though and I’m a competitive tableturfer so a lot of my xp is legitimate, mostly just getting the badge for fun

I may or may not have gotten tableturf rank 50 before reaching level 5(I don't have an addiction I swear...) I stopped playing the game a while ago and I didn't know tableturf was updated before watching this so now I have a reason to play the game again for a couple months....😂

Ugh, this is legitimate proof that Splatoon 3 is a lazy stopgap just to keep the brand relevant before the release of the next console. Balance-wise, it’s the best the franchise has been, and grinding for weapon stickers and the 4-Star badges are a great addition to encourage more playtime (could we PLEASE get cameos and simplified weapon attachments next game???); but when it comes to the long-term aspects like map design and stuff like THIS, it really makes me eager for the next game already. Great job dropping the ball on your new cash cow, Nintendo. It only took you guys earning a couple billion dollars to FINALLY hire enough people to regain my hope for this franchise.

The cynicism kills me, because, for all that it's worth, the map design has been improving substantially since launch. Hell, part of the reason the game is more balanced is because they decided with this game to make patches more frequent, so more feedback could be taken. I understand that the extreme grindiness in some areas of this game does kill it for a lot of people, but calling this a "cash cow" and a "lazy stopgap" with all of the quality of life improvements, genuine attempts at taking player feedback to make things better, and other such things feels like overkill. Perhaps that's how the execs saw it. But that's not the game that I see here.

@@squiddu Well, this last season and the upcoming one really sparked my love for Splatoon again, but there’s no denying just how much they have fumbled with S3 the majority of the time. (Just look at this last season’s catalog of reskins.) And those badges do cut to the heart of the game’s biggest problem. A game that was released an entire five years after the previous entry shouldn’t have to rely on such tricks to keep players invested. I am SUPER excited for Bluefin Depot returning! I do think they will keep improving the game from now on, but the suits should have prioritized just making a good game over “CONTENT.” Never allocate your most experienced talent someplace else when you’ve got an entirely new phenomenon that you can’t just expect the players’ goodwill to keep alive.

i used an ardunio leonardo, a cp2014 usb serial converter, and an elgato hd60s capture card. you dont need to use the exact equipment i use, you can find a list of compatible items bundled in the manual which can be found in the script download

If I play 3 hours each day how long will it take?

My Tableturf rank is 53. I sometimes try to grind unlocking the cpu Sleeves when listening to my weekly rpg. Idk how long it'll take but whenever I get them all I'll consider trying to reach lvl 999. Only to preserve my sanity

I’m just gonna say that getting the Medal for playing Table Turf is totally not worth it.

I just use an 8BitDo stick controller, program a macro to pass every turn, turbo the button and leave something on it to hold the button down. :)
