THE DARK ELEMENT is a musical project fronted by the former Nightwish vocalist Anette Olzon together with Finnish guitarist and songwriter Jani Liimatainen.
The Ghost And The Reaper (lyrics)
Here the stars no longer shine
And bitter is the wine
That flows between my lips
In our garden that withered so fast
Two roses, red and white
The princess and the knight
We’ll always be here
We will be waiting for
Now and forevermore
We are the Eden’s curse
For better and for worse
For you left for your ghost
And I am the reaper of souls
The pyres burning bright
Flames reaching for the sky
Now you are gone but
I’ll write the eulogy for you
Cold is stream
Colder my blood and
Cold is the night
Colder your heart
Lifeless in my arms
Fallen for my charms
Dark tale of a dark love
Poetry of poison
The Ghost and the Reaper
Grim verse from a grim soul
History of heartless
The dream and the dreamer
Sour words from a sour heart
Hollow and so hopeless
The scream and the screamer
Dead oaths from our dead lips fallen
So lifeless, so silent
Now lets take our final bow
And let the curtain fall
The stage will fade to black
A life that will never come back
A dark emporium
of even darker dreams
Where nothing’s what it seems
but the shadows they call you
Cold is stream
Colder my blood and
Cold is the night
Colder your heart
Lifeless in my arms
Fallen for my charms
Dark tale of a dark love
Poetry of poison
The Ghost and the Reaper
Grim verse from a grim soul
History of heartless
The dream and the dreamer
Sour words from a sour heart
Hollow and so hopeless
The scream and the screamer
Dead oaths from our dead lips fallen
So lifeless, so silent
Would you please pour holy water on me
For all that I want is to join with the sea
I wanna go where the ocean caresses the virgin shore
For once more
Dark tale of a dark love
Poetry of poison
The Ghost and the Reaper
Grim verse from a grim soul
History of heartless
The dream and the dreamer
Sour words from a sour heart
Hollow and so hopeless
The scream and the screamer
Dead oaths from our dead lips fallen
So lifeless, so silent

Its funny how almost everyone debates over Tarja and Floor(regarding Nightwish) while pretending Anette era never happened. Let's face it people, the best two albums of Nightwish happened during the Anette era and she did a tremendous job. I love both Tarja and Floor, it's just I think Anette is a lot under appreciated. So good to hear her sing again and this is a wonderful song!

This song Ghost And The Reaper and My Sweet Mystery were written about me and my protector Chip -- he's one of the top ClA agents/programmers and he's been directly and indirectly involved in the creation/production of most lyrics and movies and veedeos etc over the past 8 to 10 years and he included subtle references to me in many songs, while some songs were written about me...

This is true! It may sound incredible/hard to believe, but Anette is in fact a type of agent and she was chosen for her voice (which matches mine the most -- they wanted me to train my own voice by singing along Anette) and the agency taught her the right belting technique, while they taught most singers the wrong techniques... This song and My Sweet Mystery are about me and my real-life protector Chip (who's one of the top ClA agents) and he represents The Grim Reaper/The Knight/The White Rose while I represent The Ghost/The Screamer/The Dreamer and The Red Rose, myself being the true and only Princess / Lady / Queen / Leader / Goddess etc protected by the official security organizations ClA and NSA since day one and the most protected being on Earth, soon to be given the full world power after the system change aka totalitarianism. The songs Eva and Cadence Of Her Last Breath by NW were also written about me -- and they definitely made the right choice picking Anette for this mission, and to sing all those songs about me. Even though it may sound surreal to most, there are more agents in the world today than anyone could ever imagine, and they even have some agents 'disguised' as public figures. The ClA has always controlled all these industries, including the music/movie/tech industries as well as all celebs/public figures and all doctors/nurses/military and ex-military people etc so this is not surprising to me. It's actually not that secret anymore, as they've already started to show more obvious clues and messages. Even though some may find it surreal and hard to believe, all my info in 100 percent acurrate as they would never allow anyone to give me false info to bring to the world because I was made to represent The Truth and The Light.

  • @FrozenMermaid666

    @FrozenMermaid666

I'm glad they finally show the character representing an agent in Anette's new video for the song Parasite (around 0:53) and first they don't show his face but then they show his face, which is a subtle clue indicating that they will soon make all those things they kept a secret public knowledge, which is great as I don't see the point in keeping everything a secret. Soon everything will change as the current system (which is wrong) is about to be replaced by the New World's Order aka the right system. The agency has been 'injecting' subtle clues and direct/indirect references to me in many songs and movies over the past 2 decades, and after 2005 they made sure certain songs would be written that are telling my story in subtle ways, so they are all very metaphorical and full of symbolism re certain parts of my personality/qualities etc because I was the one selected to lead the New World, and they said this will be the biggest event in humans' history, which is why they've been trying to 'prepare' the world for this change for so many years.

@@loadeddog8015 exactly! They each have their own vocal strengths. Like Tarja voice shines and is bright, Floor hits you to the floor with her vocals and Anette has an instantly recognisable voice that can hit a really fast pace but keep it clear and understandable. It's bizarre to me how people expected Anette to sing operatic songs when for example, this style of song suits her well. Storytime is another that comes to mind; it's quite hard to sing because of its pace. Basically singing is hard and I appreciate all of the vocalists Nightwish has had.
