@@aslj1179 actually, in the 1982 movie, although Frank Oz did the puppet performance, Aughra was voiced by Billie Whitelaw.

Elisa Huberman my point exactly, frank wanted to provide the voice , but they opted against it. The voice is spot on in this performance, but not so much the performance...... aughra is an icon!

@@aslj1179 same thing with the Skeksis Chamberlain performed by Frank Oz. Everyone thought Fozzie from the Muppets was turned into a vulture. And no one would want that. So they brought the late Barry Dennen aboard to voice the Chamberlain

The Dark Crystal series deserves to be a whole lot more then just a 'Tactical' game... It deserves to be some huge open world RPG game. Tactical gameplay just doesn't do it any justice, there is a whole world out there to explore and this type of genre just don't seem to grasp it in fairness.

Didnt expect to see a new game based off of a Jim Henson property with how long its been

I've heard great things about that game. Pretty hard to track down for region 2 though .

I'm a PS4 owner and i'm a fan of the original movie for 33 years since i was 4 and i'm looking forward to the amazing new prequel coming to netflix and they could had hired Square or Ubisoft for a TDC RPG game

I'd give it a go anyway. I haven't played a TRPG for like 15 years, but love The Dark Crystal so will check this out.

Tf this is like the ultimate hype beast year for entertainment haven't seen dark crystal since I was like 6. So random.

I hope there's a fizzgig only option.

Game reminds me of final fantasy tactics the original way back when. 8/30/19 for the tv series can't come fast enough

When I saw the series I thought it would make an awesome open world rpg. This isn't bad, just saying the worldbuilding had potential for so much better.

You should watch the trailer for the Netflix show to see true nostalgia.

I was expecting a hack 'n slash RPG, but then I saw the graphics and I knew it would be turn-based like Fire Emblem or Tactics. Hopefully it won't be an expensive title.

the dark crystal movie & series are beautiful. i feel like a tactical game misses a HUGE opportunity to create an open world concept for players to travel through the different areas and get to feel like they're part of it as well. i'm so excited for a game but this is a little disappointing :/

@@melxb Yeah I mean it's great to see these things reimagined, especially those too young to watch the originals. Though I'm from the 90's my Mum subjected me to these films lol but sometimes when they do remake these things they sometimes ruin it.

I HATE "tactics" type games.. I accidentally bought one once for full brand new price. The next day, I brought it into Gamestop to sell back, and they offered me LESS THAN TWO DOLLARS! Garbage..

Why turn based? I was expecting it to be open world or a journey! I really like the movie and it has potential to be greater than this!

Mobile game meh

This is such a nock off of fire emblem

Here I was, hoping for a truly awesome open world RPG game, and instead I find this. Disappointed. Imagine being able to freely roam the landscapes of Thra as different characters, all working different paths to stop the Skeksis. This could have been one of the best RPG games ever created. Instead, its a turn based strategy game. Bah.

As much as I love the film, and am super excited for the series, this looks terrible. They really haven't captured the unique aesthetic of the world and characters, which if you are going to make a game using the dark crystal, it may be the most important detail. The game just simply looks ugly and bland.

I'm a simple man. I see Netflix; I hit dislike.
