Sid Melton [Charlie] was an underappreciated comic actor....he later played on Green acres as Alf Monroe the fix it man with wife "Ralph" Monroe. He appeared in many movies and TV shows. He is really funny in this episode.

Wow Pat Carroll always appeared so much older than she was. 1927-1961... She's only 34 here. Similar to Patricia Neal that same year playing the "older" woman in Breakfast at Tiffany's. What woman would hire a male escort that was only 2 years younger than themself? He was 33. She was 35. Now a married woman 52, 55, something like that, and hiring a 23 year old....that's different.
