Fun fact the map Anxiety is actually originally a Halo Custom Edition map made by someone named Mr Double Fire who worked with Bungie to port the map into Halo 3 :3 Though they never completed it XP

@@presidentraiden9203 The RPG maps as well, one of which had the entire model for assault on the control room deep underground. I used to love the detail on all of those RPG maps, and every little thing you could do in them.

Landslide reminds me A LOT more of timberland than valhalla.

The reason why it is included into halo 3 odst is because thats where the mythic map pack comes from Its cool to see cut content

First map kinda reminds me of Halo CE Gephyrophobia, but with the ground being playable. It's probably not even as big as Gephyrophobia either but definitely more play space.

I'm not sure if it's just because there's no skybox, but the bright lights on damn contrasting against the dark sky looks super cool.

newer games had no contrast, in halo 4/5 I couldnt even see what I was aiming at, just my average halo 3 nerd opinion lol

Also, next time you do a map tour, maybe take into consideration making the camera motions less frantic. It's a little nauseating but also you don't get to really see much in detail when you only get a second to go over a part. It'd be nice to get some slow overhead pans of the map from above. Maybe some slow moving shots of some hallways.

@@BazookaTooth707 I know but it would be cool if a group of modders or 343 themselves would polish up these maps up for matchmaking. If not, at least to be accessible in custom games and forge without needing to download a mod from the workshop.

Makes you really wonder “what if” especially if you were one of the people who played H3 online to the death (like me)

I assume the Desecration map would have been on flood infected High Chairity, noting that parts of the map have the High Chairity art design and that Bungie used dirt as placeholder texture/mesh.

Really hope some talented people in the community finish these maps up. Id love to see the days where they get approval by 343 and put into retail as new additions. The rest of the Halo Online maps forsure can be finished up by the community but id love to see some of these as well.

@@Boomboozled Custom games are a thing. Some trash maps can be decent with the right tools and custom game settings.

Damn there's cut dlc maps? Man wish I had a pc now and mcc with all the new stuff in it.

I agree with "Anxiety" being too big for BTB. Maybe that's the reason it was cut.

I really want to see the tempest map come to Halo 3. I really like the map layout, but really dislike how Reach plays. Plus, ever since Zanzibar/Last Resort, I've always had a thing for tropical set maps.

These maps look so amazing! Just polish things here and there and they could be added into the game in a big update like with what happened with the Halo Online maps or Firefight Custom Browser.

You know, I had originally thought Bungie had just ran out of ideas because the Halo 3 Mythic maps are sooooo boring and overall so shitty. Guess I was wrong, just turns out they cut all of the interesting maps! Why would they cut a remake of Battle Creek, a cool beach map, a Flood infected High Charity map and some massive BTB maps for freaking Orbital or Longshore?

I’m actually so sad Damn didn’t make it to the full game. It looks just like a classic FPS map! I could easily see that being an instant Halo multiplayer classic!

I think the only way these maps would ever be included into the game by official means is if a modding team finished the maps, and then gave 343 the maps instead of releasing them as mods. I could even see new map skulls being introduced for some additional achievements that might bring some people back just for the achievements alone.

Desecration in particular had to have been someone's baby and I bet they were gutted when it was cut.

Landslide reminds me of something from Halo Wars for some reason.
