I really cannot understand why Mojang hasnt added this option into vanilla minecraft. Do they want us to play with friends or not?

I've been wondering if this was possible for so long, thanks. I'm still wondering why Java hasn't added support for P2P hosted servers. Realms doesn't have full mod support so people usually go to third-party hosting services anyways.

I wonder why no one is replying

We are trying to set it up so both if us me and my friend can play independently. The problem is sharing the save File everytime the last person finishes playing. This way the person who lunches the world first would be the host. We are trying to use Google drive to setup portable minecraft luncher so we uss exactly the same files but its not as easy. If you have any tips on how could we achive this would be great! Thanks,!

At that point I'd just pay for a server but if this isn't an option then leaving your computer on but asleep with the game open so the server stays open. You can do this with aternos as well. Just leaving a character afk in the server. I don't know of another way that would fix your problem easily sorry

@@nottkorupt8579 w managed to make it work but the problem is that if the host is being changed then the items of the host are not properly saved and are duplicated between characters. Basicly if you would like to make it work at all times properly you would need to have one person being a host at all times. We ended up paying for a proper server.

this is the exact issue we are trying to deal with. since we both have high upload speed we are using yandex disk but it will only work for a while world is already 200mb and we just created it

essentials mod doesn't support some versions and you can fix that by making your own server and port forwarding, very easy just search it up.

I think if mojang let us creating servers (with mods for example) it will be realy cool

Tried it for better mc, got the same thing but I can host a server. Haven't tried joining one yet

so i was trying to do the aether mod with a friend and my buddy couldn't join the aether. itll just kick him out, idk what the problemis

I've been trying to test pojavlauncher java for Android but it's showing black screen whenever I choose any version

Essential mod simply does not open when I try to run it. Sometimes an error that says invalid response to API shows up but other times it just doesn't open no matter what. Is there any fix to this?

Make sure you have the same mods. Try lowering render distance

How does this work exactly for my friends? They have Essential downloaded as well as Kinda Crazy Craft 2.0, but no launcher like ATLauncher (only I followed the steps in this video). When I try inviting them, they get an error message along the lines of "Incompatible launcher version" or something where the launcher and server has different versions or something. How do I fix this?

I would assume that you and your friends don't have the exact same mods

I tryied it but my friend cant create a account in essential so i cant make he join in my server

it doesnt show up in my minecraft mods list for some reason even though its in my folder

Yeah you can add mods to your instance in the curse launcher

do you know how to get the mustard virus into a multiplayer because if you use essensials it crashes if you do a regular server you don't have the mods

Im having a weird issue where the game doesnt launch if i have essential mod downloaded

This doesn't work with the Aether mod. Curseforge essential version is not compatible with 1.19.4 but Aether is only compatible with that version

Watch my video on how to install mods. But the steps are as follows, click add mods on your instance, change the search from curse forge to modrinth then search for iris shaders. Then change the drop down from mods to shaders then search for a shader pack. Or add the shader manually to your shaderpacks folder

This isn't working for me, and i have done everything you have told me to do in the video. When ever I click play in instances it just says incompatible mod set and to install fabric, which i already did. I have bean trying this for hours and this still doesn't work
