My Tuesday nights are reserved for Oak Island and have been from the start. I’ll watch til the end and feel sure they’ll find treasure. I hope they continue excavating the island even after treasure is found to find more things in the swamp and Lot 5. I thoroughly enjoy every show and every artifact they find. The possible Venetian glass bead is an incredible find. Please stay with it.

My absolute favorite show of all time. I remember watching something about Oak Island when I was a kid and have always been fascinated by it and always wondered what was going on on the island whenever it crossed my mind. Which was quite often. I also wondered why there wasn't a show made about the work going on because I knew that would bring in the money needed to figure it out and then BAM! The Curse of Oak Island came outta nowhere. Now, if we could just get the narrator to shut up and just let the work speak for itself it'd be that much better. We don't need the added drama for shows to be great anymore. The narration comes across as fake and unnecessary. The story and the finds themselves are so fascinating that trying to add drama on top with the narration only takes away from the finds.

Why Season 12? We are currently in Season 11. The workings at Oak Island were clearly a major mining and marine engineering project done in the very, very distant past, but keep in mind that the sea level surrounding Oak Island was much lower in ancient times.

@@Nathan-uo9yf The Geological Survey of Canada stated in the 1990's pursuant to research conducted in Mahone Bay at Oak Island that the sea level surrounding the island was rising at the rate of 30 centimetres (12 inches) every one hundred years. Rick Lagina even briefly mentioned this fact on one of the episodes a couple of years back. Hence, the sea level would have been significantly lower in the very, very distant past at Oak Island allowing for human access to the cavern(s) via "now-submerged" cave/niche entrances at the shoreline that are seen on bathymetric maps produced by said Geological Survey. Sorry so lengthy!

@@Nathan-uo9yf Thanks for your replies. In the very distant past, the sea level at Oak Island would have been even lower than that. In ancient times, the shallow waters that lie between lot 1 of Oak Island and the mainland would have been dry land. Today, one could probably carefully wade from lot 1 to the mainland at an extreme low tide. The identified "alleged" symbols carved on the missing 90-foot stone (i.e. Tifinagh/Berber) are in the neighbourhood of two thousand years old, so way back then, the underwater cave/niche entrances seen at the shoreline on bathymetric maps would have been above the mean high water line and accessible, together with the cavern(s) which would have been high and dry in ancient times. Photography done by Mr. Dan Blankenship of Borehole 10X at a depth of 235 feet in the early-1970's revealed that a significant operation had occurred deep beneath Oak Island in the cavern(s) in the very distant past. The show doesn't focus on this. For info, the marine nautical chart CHS4381 of Mahone Bay which includes Oak Island is a wealth of information as to water depths surrounding Oak Island and the nearby islands, etc.... You can view it on the Internet and even enlarge it. I purchased the large hard copy of the chart as it is easier to read than the one here on the web. When it comes to the Oak Island mystery, knowledge is power! Again, sorry so lengthy!

At one time in the very distant past, the cavern(s) beneath Oak Island and at least two cave/niche entrances at the Oak island shoreline were high and dry and accessible "possibly" to the cavern(s). The Geological Survey of Canada conducted research at Oak Island in the 1990's, bathymetric maps were made of the shoreline and the Mahone Bay seabed and the scientists stated that the sea level surrounding Oak Island was rising at the rate of 30 centimetres (12 inches) every one hundred years. With the slowly-rising sea level over the past two millennium, the cavern(s) and the shoreline entrances are now completely underwater and inaccessible.

@@johnwoa You can imagine how much gold, diamonds, basalt, and stone for building things like pyramids where exposed during the lower sea levels. People think the stone for things like the pyramids had to come from hundreds of miles away. They only take into consideration the available resources from above present day sea levels. There is an entire other ancient Egyptian city under the ocean. They have pulled up artifacts. It has the same writing and reliefs. It is definitely the second kingdom on ancient Egyptian depictions. It is just under the ocean now. Many things are wrong. Like they could not cut stone without diamonds. When the ocean level was lower the had lots of diamonds.

@@justinsane7128 Definitely before 1622. That is when one of my relatives came over on the one of the boats. 402 years ago. Many of the ancient South American people believed many caves where sacred. They found many gold artifacts in these caves. The people had to dive under water to get in them. It is possible someone found similar caves there on the island.

Why would they not lower high powered led lights in the 2 holes already in Aladdin’s cave and a camera in the other to see as much as possible. Also, the water pouring in the garden shaft is “salt” or “fresh water? Why would they not be interested on where it’s coming from?

Well done to all involved, and thank you for a great journey; Absolutely Fantastic, Well done that man with the metal detector, Admiration to you Gregg, and to all of you again, Chris from Derby in England; Brilliant! !!!
