Mr. Doepner taught at my elementary school. One summer he lent his Strat-O-Matic baseball game to my brother and me. He is a class act. I can thank him for my love of baseball.

I'v been a collector for the NY Islanders since 1991 when I was a freshman in college. I have been told it is worth quite a bit, but it's the memories of each item that gives me the most joy. It's the love of hockey and my home team.

A great film about a great guy; very well done. I've had the honor of speaking with Clyde on a few occasions and he is exactly as he appears in this film. Genuine, nice, and full of passion for his work. Great stories, too...if you ever decide to tour Target Field, make sure Clyde is your tour guide; you will love him.

Just stumbled upon this video, what a cool short documentary! Well shot, stories were relevant and meaningful, and gave a really interesting insight into some of the unique aspects of baseball and collecting. Clyde seems like such a good person as well. Awesome stuff!

Heh. This was an interesting watch. I had him as a teacher in HS. He's one of the good guys. One of the few that made me want to learn. He cared, and you could always tell.

The only full-time curator. Other teams have curators and historians who work hard to preserve the history of their teams as well, thankfully!

Wait a minute. He just said collectors should collect for love of the game and not for money. *But then he takes one of Jim Thome's bases and auctioned it off at a fundraiser.* Just sayn
