This was my little brother's favorite band, he turned me on to The Cult in the late 80s mid-90s I became a huge fan and still am to this day, this song hits me hard, my little brother died in 97 and the part of the funeral where everyone one by one pays their last respects at his coffin, I had the funeral director play this song and Sanctuary during that time, my little Brothers two favorite songs by them..R.I.P DJ..

Oh damm!.. your little brother left you a great gift: the love for The Cult. Beautiful to have someone playing your favourite songs in your funeral. I asked for it for my friend's funeral,who gave me two great years of great music live...but someone didn't agree. One day i'll give him a band playing music at his annual cerimony. I don't know wich year but i'll do! And that's my promise to him.

Probably sounds really stupid but i want to cry listening to this, takes me back to a happier better time, a carefree time when nothing mattered. I miss my old mates, probably never see them again and this track reminds me of all of them.

Right there with ya my friend, back in 89 I went to school in Boston and became friends with some of the funniest characters I've ever met in my life.. Winter in the city, playing cards, partying and laughing all night long in that old run down place with friends I'll probably never cross paths with again.. I find myself emotional just thinking of stupid trivial things like how lucky youths and adults were to turn on the radio in the 80s and hear the Cult or the POLICE playing...there is a club dance channel that has videos of people dancing in the 80s to these same songs when they were new... circa... so fun

This song is magic. It has the power to take me back to those years... I'm so lucky i lived the eighties

I've absolutely thrashed Fire Woman to death ❤, Revolution, Wild Flower, Sweet Soul Sister, Hollow Man.....just brilliant. I'm in now, that's it💯

I totally agree. It's ok. We missed some things. They never gave this band enough coverage on MTV or I would've listened to them more than the other bands. Sad I missed it but the videos are a blessing and they're still performing. Glad your enjoying them now.m❤😊❤

Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy are legends, I love The Cult!

This is probably one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. Ian's voice is incredible and Billy solo's are always incredibly beautiful.

I agree with you. It is a beautiful song. Ian is absolutely a gorgeous man, and Billy and Jamie are icons at playing the guitars. The drummer does a fantastic job as well.

@@nancycoffman5707 Astbury used to live along the road from me in Stepps North Lanarkshire just outside Glasgow he wanted to join my friend John's band and the told him naw 🤔😂🎸🎶 John said he was a really nice fella. I saw them a few times at Barrowlands Love Tour then again in next two tours dashed good especially when they became more heavy rock than pretentious Indie band🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Jessica, it was a great time to be into indie music. I'm in my 50's now, and I remember it like yesterday - we honestly thought we were going to change the world, and that we were the only ones that understood what was going on. Gigs were just one happy family, like long lost brothers, and I miss those times so much. Glad you've found them, welcome to the family. X

I was a day one fan and had the pleasure to see them live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1985 on the Love tour. I was completely shocked and disgusted when they turned metal hair band in 1987, but I love that stuff too now!

I just found out who the band Cult is today and I'm 63 years old! Wow old Zeppelin fan still listening to old hard rock!

My girlfriend in 1986 turned me on to The Cult and INXS. I'll always respect her for that.

I was lucky when I was young my mum was old skool rocker and I grew up listening to all these good bands which shaped what I listen to now I'm 35 this never gets old ....

A seriously underrated band.

Our little high school band played all sorts of metal from our era,great memories and so much fun.for the record our band was called Black Opal. I played drums n sang lead vocals. Great times. Being nearly 50,this music takes me back

This song brings back memories of my freshman year in college. It was almost a complete blur. 1985 - 1986. Good times had by all. Rock it out Cult! 💪💪💪

This is my favorite period of the cult sort of gothic psychedelia I loved their look too. Then they wanted to be ac/dc or something and I wasn't interested but this album is still at top 10 fave. I remember this girl in college saw them on tour and the opening act was guns n roses lol.

My favorite song from the album 'love' from 1985, the 80's were the gold era of rock and metal, I was introduced to the cult with this album, and since then I love all the albums that came till 1994

couldn't afford cable TV for MTV back then and was never able to see them in concert as well until recently so seeing these videos means a lot to me. Better late than never. They were my favorite band at the time and still one of my top 5 favorites

Amo la loro musica. Un vicino li ascoltava a tutto volume mentre studiavo. Quelle note fatte di riff magici, voce stupenda e ritmica dirompente mi entrarono al punto che dovetti assolutamente scoprire chi fossero. Il caso vuole che una sera un DJ ad una certa ora disse "E adesso è l'ora dei Cult"...Così li scoprii piacevolmente...

My favorite song from them, hands down.

I love this video and I love this song. It is one of my favorite songs by The Cult. I like the way the flashes of other performances are mixed in with the video. Jamie and Billy do a fantastic job on their guitars. The sound is outstanding. Ian looks great in his Edwardian-looking suit. He also looks handsome in his black top and stripped pants. He looks good in everything he wears though.

For me Love is by far their best album, always wish they made another in this style.

I taped this song. I was so impressed. I listened to it. On & on. Trying to decipher the lyrics of the song. It's special to me.

My neighbor was native listen the song's good friend xcelent performance good old times never seen him again but left the song's to me.

I'm super old, 48 seen them in concert my senior year in high school and realized the girl sitting next to me I loved, Haha yes we knew each other....cherish your memories

It was 6/14/87 33yrs ago, I met who would later become my husband. This song was playing when he came up to me inside a club in Kansas City. The club played music like this on Sunday's. They called that night Psychotic Sundays. I was 16, he was 19 going on 20. Best night of my life! I later learned we had been at the same Cult concert in '85 before we knew each other. It must have been fate as this song came off the "Love" album. It worked!!!💘

The debut album was the groundbreaker. Haunting, danceable rock and roll. Then onto mysticism and motorbikes and The Cult became just another rock band.
