The Cult of Magna Mater (Cybele)

Upon my studies of learning about the Imperial Cult. It gravitated me to learn more about the great mother goddess of Ancient Rome. Learning about her was quite pivotal, as she was the Roman Equivalent to the Egyptian Isis. Quite frankly, she is a great part of the way Isis became such a fundamental deity in Ancient Rome. But we'll learn more about that later. For now, here is a video I created that is a brief overview of Cybele, and the Cult of Magna Mater.

Cybele played the frame drum as depicted in the first image. You can learn more via the book When the Women Were the Drummers. Priestesses of many of the Goddesses also played the frame drum.

*respect* I am grateful for the wisdom in the ecosystem that gives each living thing health, space, and peace... I am grateful to the divine feminine. Thank you for the celestial vision and wisdom that is the essence and flower of Nature. Thank you, for the wisdom and kindness that exists in a living tree, in a river, in the bodies and auras of mammal amphibian and reptile organisms. Thank you for the energy of the Original Mother who makes them healthy, makes them beautiful, and develops their fairness, all whilst fanning the spark of Freedom, with the courageous insight to know it is true safety and peace. Thank you Great mother, who makes the experiences of life in this incarnation cute and sweet, and full of interesting info, and nutrition. Thank you for passing onto all life the ways of good Hygeine, to preserve the spirit of life as best possible, and thank you for making the path of cleanliness forgiving and not violent. You are the Great Celestial Mother who nourishes & gives the ability to relax, we are thanking You! *respect*

@@Keys7 I just read an account by a Roman general of the time, and gathered that the actual physical emasculation of priests in the official cult was not practiced prior to the advent of patriarchal ways. The act of castration, modeled on the symbolic tale of Cybele and Attis (which actually relates to an individuals progress through the Labyrinth of Life), was introduced as a reaction against the gradual persecution of the Goddess cults, whereas prior to that time in Anatolia, where the original cults of Cybele were popular, the aim of a devotee was simply to realize his feminine side and embrace it as equally as his manhood. The old Goddess religions were characterized by the principle of the Yin and the Yang. I'm not surprised that a talented individual such as Michael Jackson celebrated the Goddess in his life. Perhaps in a previous one, he attended the many festivals and fun loving precessions of the Goddess :)

There is mention of Cybele by Indian Spiritual Guru Sivan Sar in his incredible book of world history and Dharma. Cybele was a very powerful deity until Christianity arrived. Every region on earth has deities associated with that geography. Ancient men did realise these forces until Kali yuga, the dark age ushered in fake Abrahamic faiths that triggered atheism and disbelief.

Now, I have heard some transsexual scholars put out the theory that in ancient prehistoric societies, while men went off to hunt and women stayed at home with agriculture. The third/fourth sex, male to female transsexuals who also stayed with the women as their own caste or otherwise as women, as well as being priestesses of sorts, evolved into a sort of 'inventor caste' which has something to do with a transsexual caste concerned with the domestication of animals. This is connected to the Mother Goddess frequently being associated with livestock, such as bulls. I've heard the same transsexual scholars put forth the theory that this might explain why today many transsexuals are involved in technology and work technology jobs. Where can I find more information about this? I found this information on the Cult of Cybele website based in NY in the USA.

With all due respect ma'am, not everyone that posts commentary on KZread speaks English as their native language. Personally, I understood the concept of what Danremi was trying to convey. Is his blanket statement truth? Well, Yes it is! If you would allow me to expand on his very basic idea then I will illustrate that the Bible and archaeology (which you misspelled in your prior sentence) are inextricably tied to one another. While it was not mentioned in this video, Cybele was well known for the black stone that was upon her forehead. This is the very same meteorite stone that is said to have fallen from heaven. This is also the very same stone mentioned in Acts 19. ~~"The great mother goddess Cybele was taken from Pergamos to Rome in 204 B.C."~~ Pergamos was mentioned in The Revelation as the place where Satan dwells. Can you think of another place where this "black rock" might be mentioned in some type of "Biblical history"? How about MECCA! I have just outlined for you part of THE Revelation from Yahshua. For Biblical TRUTH in archaeology, please visit A Rood Awakening: *The Jonah Code* (3 days AND 3 nights~~~hint: NOT pagan Ishtar/Cybele) *The Chronological Gospels: The Life and 70 Week Ministry of Jesus THE Messiah* (How the ministry of Jesus fulfills the 70 shavuim/weeks of Daniel the prophet~~ on SEVERAL layers. Remember that the book of THE Revelation states that THE WHOLE WORLD FOLLOWS AFTER THE BEAST!!. The black rock of Cybele is the underlying, common denominator in each of the pagan or false religions throughout time. The only way to "come out of her, my people", is to go back to the very beginning or to God's WORD. Obedience to this WORD is realization that Yahshua came to fulfill the SPRING feasts of God down to every last minute detail, and He *IS* coming back to fulfill the HARVEST/FALL feasts of God in the very same manner. The TRUTH shall set you free, my friend. Blessings in Truth and Love~~~~
