Is power a corrupting force? Or can it be wielded responsibly? The Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé's ascent to the throne of pop has generated tens of millions of fans. But Beyoncé fans aren't just fans. They're followers, zealots, worshipping the ground their Queen walks across. Known as the Beyhive, these fans view Beyoncé as their deity -- often posing the rhetorical question; "WWBD: what would Beyoncé do?" A reputation for violently swarming any voice that utters against Beyoncé, the Beyhive's "killer bees" raise serious concerns about the responsibilities of superstardom. The question: how did a little girl from Houston become the Queen of a global empire?

I love how this documentary doesn't dehumanize or villianize Beyonce and instead Humanizes her to a great degree. She is human, she is soooooo human. She has flaws and limits and has failed many times but she still gets back up. And now she's at a point in her career where she's comfortable enough to make music just for the love of it and not because she's trying to chase the charts or sell tickets. She just wants to enjoy her success and do what she loves, which is music.

without knowing a ton about beyoncé other than a few songs, i bought tickets to the renaissance tour this past september. i mainly went because i knew some songs from my childhood and wanted the bragging rights of “i’ve seen beyoncé live”, so i dove in for the experience of it. literally just within the first opening song, i knew the money i’d paid to be there was well worth it. the whole show was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish - she is truly a TITAN of a performer and a once in a generation type of talent. she sang some of her most vocally demanding songs completely live the entire time (even while dancing) and i kid you not, she did not go flat ONCE the entire night in the whole two or so hours she was onstage. all that being said, this is a really thought provoking angle to take on the beyhive and beyoncé as a person that i hadn’t fully considered before. beyoncé could be the most talented woman alive right now and that wouldn’t make her any more godly or any less human than any of us. it’s a simple concept, but the way you laid it all out was so intriguing. seriously great work on this one y’all, from the editing to the research to the way you crafted this open-ended narrative was just so well put together!

I'm not a big fan but I appreciate how talented she is. I watched a video of Matt Walsh bashing the country album and he ended it saying she can't sing 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ I'm the person that thinks she might be possessed or a witch but I know she can sing and that's an indisputable fact. Matt Walsh with the frog voice talking about someone's singing is wild, maybe he didn't like her rendition of Joleen but he's just a sore loser and hater, just like those people who said she's disgusting with no reason behind it, called her a gyrating fool while supporting Trump😂😂😂😂 Trump the actual gyrator(may not be a fool though). You don't have to love someone to know and say the truth.

I personally don’t like to refer myself as "Fan" or "Stan" of someone besides God. I’ve never supported a celebrity as much as Beyoncé, she represent so much for me, during my teenage years, she taught me how to be calm, elegant, patient, gracious, sexy, confident, think wider, classy, humble, hard working, quite and loud, learning how to think like a perfectionist… And mind you ! I haven’t even started to talk about her talent which is the MAIN reason of why I’m a supporter. She’s EXTREMELY talented, I mean GOD GIVEN TALENTED + her humbleness made her work physically, mentally and intellectually and it made her a BEAST OF TALENT. She’s a classically trained Star Rated Vocalist (only a few vocalist are), she can dance better than any of her peers with style, she can write, produce short films, songs, vocals performances… rap, sing any genres. Wow. And can I express how beautiful is she ? I mean lips, nose, eyes shape, eyes color, hair, her face card is INSANE. Her body is even MORE INSANE that there’s a +20 years old debate if it’s real or not ( It is factually ). Wow wow wow.

Classically trained means Classical Vocal Training commonly found in classical music, gospel music, Jazz, Blues,RnB and Soul music. No mention of her futile attempts to make Hive stand down, lol. They told that lady to mind her business more than once 😂. Not even the “they got me” quote from Act I. Her acknowledgment that a lot of the reason that she can take these risks is because of her fans. That would have been powerful. Still enjoyed it, just saying. ✌🏾❤️

The reason for that is I believe he’s trying to say trump has a huge following that is willing to do as he says with horrible things, if you see twitter they go out there defending him and attacking anyone who thinks differently, like the beehive with Beyoncé, if something they don’t like they go after the person. Stuff like that is what he referred too

Two things: as a piece of historical context, because of the rising racial and other tensions which went along with her protest gestures that were mentioned earlier, and her involvement with and feelings about the Obama presidency; and to present Trump's cultlike following as a comparison and counterpoint to Beyonce's. I thought it worked very well, lots of food for thought.

You have such a great way of weaving together all the elements of the video to create an engaging narrative. Even the still photos are edited in such an interesting way to keep the viewer engaged. You are taking KZread editing/storytelling to a new level!

I genuinely enjoyed the video its one of the best and well put together videos I'd ever seen, im subbing. I just thought the juxtaposition of Trump supporter and the Beyhive is a little incongruous, considering a lot of the flattering language directed at Beyonce is very much a product of queer black aave and phatic hyperbole, which intentionally conflates and overstates one's influence for effect and love. There's going to be sections of twitter and online stan twitter that enact internet harrassment, but Trump supporters seem to genuinely believe that Trump is some figure that American politics need and treats him as a figurehead, which ACTUALLY spilled out into physical violence in charlottesville in 2017 and the storming of the capital in 2021. The two just doesnt seem equal to me, but otherwise a genuinely amazing video.

I’ve seen her three times and I felt like I’ve seen her every step of the way through her amazing life and career ❤❤❤ and my only critique is that Andrew Schulz was featured near the end saying “what would Beyoncé do” when he clearly is not really a supporter of hers and was very opposed to her art in favor of Taylor swift and got on platform after platform saying Taylor swifts career greatly over shadowed Beyoncés…
