The Cuckoo bird covers the others chicks so the parent can’t feed them. It’s really annoying.

Fascinating how the cuckoo bird spitefully tries to attack its "mother" when it doesn't get immediately fed, unlike the other nestlings that are all well behaved and patient. It's almost as if the cuckoo instinctively understands the truth of its relationship with its "parent".

He isn't trying to push him out ....he has turned his back to poop. It has been noticed that chicks turn back while they urge to poop.

We wished the siblings would viciously attack the impostor cuckoo! Wished parent bird would feed the cuckoo a beak full of bullet ants or a poisonous caterpillar!

Not only that if it would’ve successfully got the other chicks out when it was freshly hatched it would also do that to make the mama bird think it’s more than one chick so it can get way more food

Удивительно, как прожорлив и агрессивен это кукушонок. Заслоняет собой родных птенцов, чтобы им не досталось еды, все только ему. Как трудно было родителям- птицам таскать еду для своих птенцов и этого агрессора. Не знала, что родители- птицы кормят даже ночью. Они вообще не отдыхают, получается!

The bird is not spoiled, it's acting on instinct. It's aggressiveness will weaken, possibley kill the others by outcompeting, them for food, starving them.

It's instinctively spoiled considering it can't even be bothered to swallow the food it's "parents" work to gather and just keeps begging for food even when it's mouth is already full (something the other nestlings never do). Makes it that much more satisfying when the parent birds take the food back out of its beak to feed their real children instead.

The mother bird is clearly afraid of that cuckoo. He keeps trying to (and does) bite her and she jumps back or stands out of his reach on the rock. She isn’t fooled though because she knows he’s an invader and both parents clearly feed their chicks first while giving him enough to get by, but he just continues to screech and abuse. He even yells with food in his mouth so they take it away or he just drops it. This cuckoo is stupid.

The cuckoo is so greedy. Has the audacity to still open its mouth and beg for food, even if its mouth still full of food.

I wonder what happened here because usually the cuckoo hatches and throws all the eggs out and then the other chicks out and remains the only one in the nest. These others are very lucky.

Not all species do that, and in fact, some kinds that do not get killed the other chicks stay in the nest because if they die, the mother will come to the nest and ravage it and kill the host chicks.

I love the cuckoo. Thanx to the stupidity of the father bird, it always gets the best meal. The cuckoo also alert, always awake and grab its chances for food, unlike the actual babies, always sleeping, always slow n not alert when their parent come with food. I pray the bird will forever be a slave for the cuckoo.

Your prayers were denied. This is an old video from at least 6 months ago. The cuckoo got torn apart by a mountain cat before it could fledge. One of the other birds did die, but a last baby that actually belonged to the couple survived. You're welcome!
