I doubt the chosen will try to outdo the passion. It'll probably be tame in comparison though the music may be a lot sadder.

One little detail here. Kinda gives me chills to know how many people were crucified on that same piece of wood that Jesus was carrying. Did anybody notice the multiple nail marks on each ends of the crossbeam? Roman’s probably used that crossbeam for dozens of executions and Jesus was just another victim on that cruel piece of wood.

I'm confused about something, I thought Jesus refused the wine. I may have been taught that because I grew up as a Fundamental Baptist and they believe drinking alcohol is sinful.

Jesus refused the drugged wine that soldiers offered those who were crucified, but after the scripture had been fulfilled, he drank vinegar that was also present, according to what I’ve read.
