The start of the new year is ALWAYS a provocative time. It reminds me of new beginnings, exciting endeavors and seamlessly adapting to change; ALL, not only vital elements in the dynamic of life, but essentials for continued progress. Coming off the AMAZING moments of 2023 it was important for me to work with a band NEW to RMW, but also one that reflected those same sentiments. I first came to know of The Crowned back in 2018 when chatter of their charismatic live performances & divergent musical ability caught my attention. And, what was that much more impressive was the band's tenacity to work all their 'behind the scenes' bases just as diligently: their wardrobe, video production, national/international tours & the band's pure grit in getting things done & getting them done RIGHT. With a 10+ year career in hindsight, 2024 will be yet another year of progression for the band, as I came to find out,...AND, with so much on the horizon, I instantly knew The Crowned were the RIGHT band to set the tone for our upcoming year. SO, on January 19th, 2024, I took the opportunity to have the band over to the RMW Studio to discuss it ALL.
