Elizabeth Debicki is such a great choice to play Princess Diana. She has that same quiet, serene aura that Diana had, even in her darkest times. I loved Emma Corin as well, she displays the wide-eyed naivety of the young princess very well. The casting for this show is always spectacular!

I think Debicki is perfect in the face. The rest of the shape is drastically animating the skinny persona for me. Diana wanted to be like that; she didn't look it all the time. The photos vs the show clip they gave here just really tells. The last actress hit the look of Diana perfectly, to me.

She is perfectly cast as Diana. Tall, willowy, imbued with this inherent sense of refined, regal grace and delicate elegance from the way she speaks to her mannerisms. Elizabeth's depiction on The Crown will be THE definitive on-screen portrayal of the Princess of Wales, bar none. Just the way she speaks about her life with such invested passion is a joy to watch in itself.

she is too tall for the role. Diana was 1.78 Debicki is 1.9 She completely dwarfs John Major onscreen :) she is still a gorgeous woman though.

Elizabeth Debicki's performance as Diana is by far the best so far. There were times I forgot I wasn't actually watching Diana. This woman is a tremendous actor.

"I don't eat breakfast" ....the shift of voice...that was sooo Princess Diana

I love the selection of Diana's outfits chosen for the video, and Elizabeth talks so thoughtfully and engagingly about Diana. She is clearly qualified to play this role - surely one of the trickiest to cast in film and television history. I'm excited to watch it.

I like this woman. She's clearly put a lot of herself into her work and sounds like she's gotten quite a lot out of it. Very thoughtful and empathetic. I see more roles for her coming soon.

If she doesn't at least get an Emmy nom, if not a win, I'll eat my hat. It's unbelievable how well she has the mannerisms & speech down!

I wish Diana was still with us and able to tell us her own story of life in looks. Such a bright light that was extinguished far too soon. With all the good she brought to this world in such a short life; imagine the joy she could have continued to spread. So sad.

This woman does a stellar job as the “older” Diana. It’s an incredibly difficult role to play because quite frankly Diana was just so uniquely beautiful… 99.99% of female actresses can’t even hold a candle to her perpetual and unique radiance. I LOVE the scene in the movie theater (Diana would go to the movies by herself in a wig and glasses!!) and at the ballet all alone in her box. Debecki isn’t a dead-ringer but she definitely captures her confoundingly doelike qualities

Apparently she hadn't planned to wear that dress the press found out what she was actually planning to wear she was annoyed and chose something else probably the one time the media did her a favour that dress was gorgeous and she looked stunning in it.

Elizabeth is the essence of feminine elegance! The grace radiates from the screen whenever I watch her. Loved her in UNCLE, so excited for season 5!!

This was actually more informative than I originally thought. I just wanted to hear Elizabeth speak, but I ended up learning how Diana was able to speak to the world in photographs. Absolutely brilliant work, Vogue.

Since The Crown season 1 had premiered I always wondered who would portray the 90s confident Diana in the future seasons. Only two women came to my mind, Alexandra Maria Lara or Elizabeth Debicki. I still can't describe my happiness when I heard the latter was cast as Lady Di. We finally got an actress who looks so much like her. So stoked for season 5 already.

There is no other actor I imagined playing Diana. Only Elizabeth Debicki. I thought she looks so much like Diana ever since I saw her in the Night Manager. She has the stature, the voice, and some of the mannerisms. I love Alexandra Maria Lara but she’s too German, and doesn’t look at all like Diana. And I am calling it, Charles Dance should have not played Lord Mountbatten, but Prince Philip in Season 5.

It is so so difficult to get Diana's mannerisms and her presence but Elizabeth manages both. I am stunned by how she managed to do this! Only she has managed this. Really a wonderful and triumphant performance from a intriguing show that holds your attention. Elizabeth is really a big deal and I hope all the awards are coming her way. There is nobody better.

Diana's look post separation/divorce was everything! She seemed liberated and like she found her true style. Even her casual style was so cool!

I met Elizabeth Debicki years ago at an event in Paris, I love her acting so much I couldn't resist going up to her and telling her. She was so gracious and I'm happy to see her in this role!

I don’t know if she realizes how much she captures Diana’s spirit. I don’t know what the affect is called when you recognize someone who should be dead is alive, but I got through it whenever I see her

Diana was just 6 years older than me. She set the fashion standard in the late 80s and 90s. I wore JC Penney versions of many of those outfits!

I didn't watch the show but how she immediately switched to the voice of Diana saying "I don't eat breakfast" ( 1:47 ) is very impressive!

You can tell she’s sincere and respectful of Diana. Whoever casts for The Crown needs a raise! It is always so spot on

It really felt like I was watching the real Diana, I can't imagine anyone else playing her. She deserves all the awards! No one will ever be as stylish as Diana! I love that she was always herself. She was stunning. I was at Diana’s funeral in 1997, an amazing and sad experience

I just learned that she was an INFP like me. It makes so much sense because I love wearing things that bring me joy. She certainly dresses for herself but needs to keep up her image. I love her :D

She's the reason why I started the Crown. I never thought that bringing Diana on screen with such conviction was possible.

I love the passion Elizabeth has for Diana - I hope the show does her justice.

All photographs were beautiful. She started to dress her way, as she became more confident. She looked beautiful in sport outfits, skate sets, as well as cocktail dresses and evening gowns. Love the black dress the day charles admit his adultery. She looked sexy no matter she had some pain inside her.

I loved Diana's style when she grew into her Dior era Dior suited her so well. The way she cooled down the tones of her hair and got bolder with icy highlights was stunning with her Dior.

What this woman did on "The Crown" Season 5 was MINDBLOWING. Incredible acting. If this were a movie she should receive every Oscar's & awards of any kind.

Of all the videos and interviews I've seen with Princess Diana, this one, for some reason, made me cry. You did such a good job paying respect to these pivotal moments in her life. She should have lived a long, happy life :(

Debicki has clearly has done her research for the role. However, I would've liked if the costume designer was being interviewed instead, or even with Debicki as a pair, as they have they have the real knowledge and then can speak to the translation into the series.
