I hate to be that guy but it didn't start off with them dead in the original. It didn't spend to much time on the couple & it showed how they died with flashbacks as he hunts down the gang of what they did from her point of view since they threw Eric out the window while they continued to do what they did to her. Love the videos though. Big fan 😊

I mean the opening scene is Sarah with the ambulance as Shelly clings to her last few breathes and Eric is already dead so I see 3Cs point. He comes back to life within the first 10 minutes and we get some backstory as he hunts them.

After watching trailer, it doesn’t look that bad, but i also decided to watch the brandon lee film for the first time, not only do i think this is one of my favorite films, but i can definitely where everyone is coming from. But i will admit some scenes from the trailer did look cool

The villain that's putting the bag over Shelly face in the new film the old guy is actually one of the original villains from the original film the one that Brandon kills in his car I think is name is David patrick kelly

Die hard fan of the first one. Very nervous for this film. But Brandon Lee’s film will always be there. If it’s true that he only suits up towards the end, that will be disappointing

Compared to every sequal that came before this is by far superior, nothing can touch Brandon lees. BUT as someone who grew up with the crow as it became what it is today This looks good too

The Crow is 80s and 90s Gothic horror action. That's the ascetic. Changing that is a mistake.

Which is fine, but the crow isn't the crow without that Gothic horror ascetic. That's the whole thing that brings it together into a perfect thing. And I'm not talking about the Gothic your thinking of. Traditional Gothic horror is what the crow is. They've gone away from that. Too much.

Again the only things holding it back from being a good movie was acting issues and lack of action. Alot of fans enjoyed the new take actually... is the weird fans that think every sequel has to be the exact same....

It’s one of those movies that if the movie delivers on what is shown in the trailer and it continues the storyline of the end of the show word of mouth people are going to lose there minds

I’m not saying anyone is wrong in their opinion. But I have seen a lot of people defend this remake with the “But this one is gonna show Eric and Shelly’s relationship before they die” and all I can think about is how the RoboCop remake went out of its way to show more of the relationship between Alex Murphy and his wife. And how no one who loved the original gave a single shit about the things the remake thought it was improving upon by focusing on more of it.

Oh people are most definitely being wrong in their opinions. You can notice right out the gate that they are comparing two films and never even trying to reason even once that they compare none of the films to the source material of the comic book. That's how you know they double down on their argument and hold such a strong opinion about the details they don't understand. Eric and Shelly had ample amounts of flash backs in the novel. So much. And there was alot more blood grittiness and gratuitous violence too that never made the first film. The first film basically told Jane's O'barr to eat sht. So every one pretending to care about the integrity of the crow aren't the most genuine people.

Read the original Graphic Novel by James O’Barr, this trailer misses the entire point… they turned it into nothing more than an over-hyped Wick like film. The original was a little hokey, but got the tone and theme right.

This is going to be amazing because it’s taking place in the tv universe and there is a lot hidden

I wouldn’t even be mad at seeing this movie if they weren’t “retelling” the original movies story. The crow could literally be anyone and you choose to make him the exact same person but disguised as lil peep? Cmon.

The more I watch this trailer I'm kind getting into it and that might be a dislike opinion but we haven't gotten a good Crow film since Brandon Lee so I'm still optimistic for this film to be good

Personally, I'm really open to seeing this. I love the original, but this looks really good. The other thing, everyone is calling it a remake. It's not an actual remake of the film. They are using the source material (graphic novels) and going by that with their own spin on it. I just find it funny that everyone was fine with the god-awful sequels, but won't even give this one a chance.

Yea, like, for me, I'm open to give it a shot. I think the original was alright. But I'm ok with this. Like, that's how I look at it, it's not a straight remake, it's adapting the comics. So, it's like, that don't bother me. But I do get why people are pissed off about it. And I didn't know there was sequels lol.

If it's true that he won't be the Crow for that long, then it sounds like they're already planning a sequel.

Hey, i like the trailer, it looks interesting.....i like the 90's movie too and i know a lot of people adore that movie and its like a big part of their identity so a lot of people are so upset this is being released...I dont get this because this is not a remake, its a modern adaptation of the 80's comic by James O'Barr and that original character was kind of a mix between the Brandon Lee character and this new one..I also like that this one is going deeper into the lore of the Comic...the 90's film is great but like this new one its well its own thing...

With that last 20 mins rumour, I get wanting to show the relationship between Eric and Shelly like in the graphic novel and not as with the original film where it’s use in short flashbacks (which worked for that film). But, dedicating 2 AND A HALF ACTS until we see Eric brought back to life to seek his revenge makes no sense.

I haven’t seen the original but it looks pretty good

Looks like it wants to be a John Wick spinn off. I honestly think I would really enjoy the trailer if it wasn't Eric Draven 😂 like he wasn't even Draven in the comic that was added for the film. It could have been any character with how different they're making it.

Re adaptation... re adaptation... the creator of the comic said this film is a re adaptation.. think Dracula, so many films, same source or material as far as book used. Just relax and enjoy it or hate it.

This is more of a different situation than that. The original actor who played eric draven (The crow) Died on set it was his last performance. The original had a more gothic and dark tone. This one isn't gothic, doesn't follow the original novel and is just disrespectful.

With the crow remake, at least they got Bill skarsgard, someone who can act. Makes way more friggin sense than the roadhouse remake, that Connor McGregor, a controversial d-bag that can't act at all.

I honestly have been waiting years for a reboot, i really love the original movie so much and i i love bill skarsgard so i wanna give it a chance but my issues are like cmon guys u really couldn't just give him the white face paint? Was it that hard? Nobody would've thought he was pennywise. Another issue is the way they're killed especially compared to the original and how brutal and sad it is, but in this reboot they just get suffocated by generic goons and that's it. Even the main villain even tho he's a great actor looks and seems so generic especially compared to the OG villains in the original. I'm still willing to watch it but I'm skeptical

Ay it might be good so I'm watching it and I'll judge it after but maybe change the face paint and their names. That's all cuz he looks like the joker than the crow and I don't want them to keep using the same names from the '94. I'm not hating on the characters, it's just like the Director show use different names. Look I only watch the movie on Mon to see if it's good even tho I'm not gothic or emo person and I didn't read the comics as well. The only problem with this trailer or movie is the makeup and the character names that's all. Besides all the that I think this new movie is going to be good but I don't think it's going to be on the same level as the original. That's my opinion. So this is gonna to be my opinion list. 1. The crow '94 2 TC: City of Angles 3. The Crow '24 4. TC: Salvation 5. TC: Wicked Prayer I put it in the middle cuz it looks good but at the same it doesn't so that's why. And it's gonna to stay in the middle.

So much is taken away from the story when Shelly “walked into something she wasn’t supposed to see”. That’s cliche action thriller movie stuff. The original story and film are much more tragic, because there’s no reason for such cruelty to take place. Some people just suffer because others are evil. I recently lost a family member in a despicable, senseless murder. The original story resonates so much more now.

I think the biggest issue is that it’s going to be a remake and Brandon Lee will always be seen as the best Eric Draven. Maybe if they wanted it to be a remake that still mentioned Eric and Shelly they should of called the characters other name but find out they are Shelly and Eric reincarnated and it’s a cursed love that ends with tragedy. I never read any of the books but if a person can come back from the dead I don’t see this as too ridiculous.

The problem to me is the fact that this is Eric and Shelly. I feel if these were different people in that same universe than this movie would have done a LOT better. In my head they are Derek and Sherri, and I will enjoy the movie a lot more.

Bruh, if this movie is gonna be 70% build up and only 20% Crow then that’s not gonna do the movie any favors at all. No one wants to see all that build up with little to no payoff. The movie is called The Crow and The Crow is being heavily marketed in the trailer. And he’s just gonna be The Crow for 20 minutes of the movie?? Yeah, that’s probably not gonna go over well🐦‍⬛👀. Those last 20 minutes are probably gonna be so rushed that it’ll end up ruining the movie.

I'm a HUGE Brandon Lee Crow fan and I think everyone is afraid to admit that this movie looks great but, I hate the mullet and the facepaint and the fact they made them junkies and he shouldn't be Eric Draven. He should just be a new character like the other Crow movies

Thank You Chris, so far the only reactions I have seen for this trailer are people trashing it because people are still butthurt that another film is being made after Brandon Lee's death. I am so over people trashing a new lead in a Crow film saying how they can't measure up against Brandon Lee seriously people get over it. I get that Brandon's film is a classic and it sucks that he died 30 years ago when he filmed the movie but theses films aren't trying to replace Brandon Lee. I am a huge fan of the original movie and love Brandon Lee's other work but I still enjoy most of the Crow films and James O'Barr's work these films tell their own individual stories they aren't competing against Brandon's movie.

Honestly. I'm gonna give this movie a chance. It's never gonna top the original, but it looks like it could be a good film, so I'm gonna give it the benefit of the doubt and watch it cause some if it actually looks good. Some shots are great, and the action looks pretty good. Plus i like how some remakes bring in some new fans to keep the character alive

Honestly i'm willing to give this a chance from the trailer it seems it has potential the arguments with the comparisons between bill skarsgard and Brandon lee is very similar to when Joaquin phoenix joker being compared to heath ledger and looked how that situation turned out.
