Sideshow Collectibles did a pretty good job with this one. It's not perfect, but it's still a nice representation of Eric Draven. Brandon Lee's likeness is strongest when viewing the figure straight ahead instead of viewing it from an angle. I like the outfit. The faux leather looks like it's high quality. The paint application is clean. The figure is nicely detailed. Articulation is pretty good. However, the plastic that was utilized for the body should've had some kind of texture work instead of being plain plastic. It's unfortunate that a crow wasn't included with Eric Draven. I'm not a fan of the bland and boring display stand that Sideshow Collectibles continues to include with their 1/6th scale figures, especially considering how expensive they are. Regardless, this is still a nice looking piece, despite some obvious of issues. By the way, I like the 80's style intro. Nice work! Otherwise, Thanks, Justin! I really appreciate it! Agreed they did a great job!

The Crow was my first HT ever. Love this movie/figure. Maybe one day I can make this body swap with the sideshow to elevate him to another level, having the best of both worlds. Justin, I love when you make reviews having watched the source material and make comments like you did today. The best reference of all was in the begging, when you adapted that FANTASTIC quote “It can’t rain all the time”. Cheers!

Wow. I got mine over a year ago now. Impressed and happy to see it by done justice in a review by someone like yourself. I am really impressed with it. I do worry how the material on the “leather” parts will hold up over time, which is the majority of the figure. So far, mine has stayed solid. I think it’s a shame they didn’t make it so the Crow could be attached to his shoulder via Magnets. Alas, I just have the Crow sitting at Eric’s feet. Oh, and I paid for the extra, the Guitar. Slung it over his back.

The face sculpt is absolutely beautiful, the accessory selection... there should be more, a lot more. Heck, even the Mezco 1/12 figure has a gun with removable magazine and pull back slide! If this came with the amount of accessories as that, it would be an instant buy!

I saw the Hot Toys one, but when saw the head sculp it was a Hard No from me. The sideshow, it looks a lot more accurate to Brandon Lee. So that won me over. The detail with the coat and his top being ripped and damaged, really adds to the figure.

Wow. Really impressed with the poses at the end. That shot gun over the shoulder is a peach. Curious if you had the guitar, how would you have posed him with that? With mine, I simply slung it over his back as it comes with a strap.

Surprised you don't own a HT Crow, its a great figure that still holds up, well except for the pleather. Mine has practically fallen apart. I replaced it with a Bruce Lee phicen body, use white chalk to make his skin more pale when he's shirtless. I really want to do a redo headsculpt w/ mouth closed in zbrush that way I can buy a sideshow body and root the custom headsculpt. Wish me luck, hopefully I'll be done before the 30th anniversary in June. Thanks for sharing.

I will like to Reminisce about my Favorite Actor Back then. His name was Brandon Lee. I'm remember watching The Crow (1994) Movie, on Video as a Younger Adult. It was a Outstanding and Epic Film ever, back in those days. I thought Brandon Lee Portrayed Eric Draven Perfectly. I don't think any Actor, can play that role better than Brandon Lee. They could Imitate, but never Duplicate. Absolutely, Spectacular looking Sideshow Collectibles Eric Draven Figure. The whole Detailing, definitely Considered a Masterpiece. That black pistol is probably a Taurus PT92AF. The Beretta 92FS has ambidextrous safety on the slide whereas the Taurus has the ambidextrous safety on the frame of the pistol. They two pistols look very similar to one another. In the film Eric never uses a Beretta 92FS. He does however use the Taurus PT92AF, sometimes akimbo.

I actually own the hot toys version which to me I think is totally better looks more like Brandon Lee himself. Don’t get me wrong this is still a good scale and comes with more accessories like hands as the other one didn’t come with guns. They should’ve done a lot more better with the stand and the crow that is a big part of this scale. Changeable heads and crow poses should’ve came with both versions but unfortunately it didn’t but it’s still a good scale
