I don't know why they didn't pick a new Crow. They're actually redoing Eric Draven. That's unnecessary. The premise of the entire franchise allows for new people, even if recycling the dead lovers motivations. I'm torn on it. I do want this franchise to be revived. I think the trailer would be received better if it didn't have the baggage of marketing the film as a remake. I just really disagree on rebooting back to Eric Draven.
