@@Lunaferr i can confirm, i came from The Crew 2, and started Motorfest on the 1st early access day, and when i started i found it hard to drive, but after some good hours i got used to it and i really enjoy the physics much more than TC2, this ones feel more realistic while still being arcade, but not as much as TC2, i hated when in TC2 some cars went on 2 wheels, that made them imposible for me to enjoy, and now its something interestingly new that i enjoy

Cant expect much when 90% of the lobby is too young for a real Drivers License.

Bro I can't stress enough on how disgusting some of the drivers are lmaoo, especially coming from the crew 2 and going to this? I LOVE the game, prob one of my favorites currently and the chaotic natural of the race is funny af don't get me wrong. But genuinely sometimes I wanna turn the first corner and not be killed for using my brakes

I do clean driving 100%, I come from playing GT7. This game does not promote any type of skilled, Cornering and racing lines are completely irrelevant in this game and winning races online is all about who can shoot down the corner faster and crash into the wall, so mostly luck.

Just did my first grand race in this game after owning it for 3 months or so..and finished all the playlists. This was my experience. Deinstalled it right away.

Every racing game turned out into track Mania with smooth road

Yeah the grand race is chaotic in the beginning, it's to be expected when there's no real car damage n you have 28 people all fighting for first place. Best way to try n avoid the early pile ups is to try n cut inside on the first corners when possible to avoid that early pile up.

This is equivalent to gta stunt races 😭

There are a lot of vehicles that have decent visual customization. There is also a livery editor, but I don't know how good it is because I haven't used it.

4 months ago you uploaded this and now sadly I think it's much worse, so now we have, in some people's eyes, cheaters using 3rd party app's to fool the game and gain a advantage and so many players will hit, spin, ram and push you out of the way because even 24th place is so important to them it's anything goes to get buy you. Its was fun to take part in when it was 'new' to us and even funnier to watch especially with racing Monster Trucks, now to many take it too serious.

There needs to be ghosting in some way shape or form. having people mess you up all the time like this might seem funny at first but after awhile it gets so annoying. This wouldn't be a problem if there were other racing modes for online but since this is the only form of online matchmaking racing on this game, it sucks

It would be good if online races were ghosts so you can enjoy the race as you pleas free roam the same thing you going through a point to point you should be uniterupted

This is just any racing game when playing against irl players don't make the crew motofest look bad lol

grand race is my fave thing in the game. the pack is always full of crazys. it settles down once you leave them behind lol. great game. loving it so far.

And they say that FH5 players cant drive .. but this ...this is another level os stupidity an skill issue

It's not really about the drivers when the cars in the game have terrible handling , I tried it out for myself and had no clue how the developers thought this game was ready to go.

I can understand not liking the handling model but I don't think it's the main cause for other people's poor driving. Take it from a person that's been playing Need For Speed for years, bad physics aren't what determines whether a game will have competitive driving or even clean driving, it's the players. I will say that the racing in this game is very unforgiving. There are many turns that look like you can take without applying the brakes that actually require braking, and unlike games like NFS, you can't slam on the brakes late and save yourself from flying off the road. On top of that, Motorfest really punishes you for going offroad in a road car so minor mistakes can be costly. This game really makes you plot out your racing line which I really enjoy, however the less skilled players would rather ping pong off of you car or slam into wall in order to complete a race which makes standard racing even more of a challenge. It's still very doable mind you, but I understand this type of racing isn't for everyone

Racers can complain all they want. As of now, Grand Race Drivers can do whatever they want. Only Ubisoft/Ivory Tower has the right to change settings for Grand Races. This is typical behavior in online racing games with multiple players.

@@LoFiFred wait seriously? So then thats better then grinding out the ny hypercar race on the crew 2. It basically take me almost 40 minutes to get 450k on a lazy run. Probably 38 minutes if my driving is sharp (which lately is hasn’t. I’ve been wreaking like crazy between the crew 2 and nfs unbound since I got sick)

Not to brag or toot my own horn but I usually place top 3 in every grand race, I’ve only ever been stuck with the pack maybe twice, based off of how you drive and the cars you play with I’d say you average a place of 10th maybe a bit better, honestly you just need to be aware that other players are better and others are worse, just enjoy the game and work on bettering yourself if you don’t wanna be in the pack of noobs
