Do you not worry about parasites in the salmon? I’ve always been tempted but avoided it. I’ve always thought most large fish aren’t used for fish food because they tend to have parasites and heavy metals (from being higher in the food chain). I’ve noticed most hikari and northfin foods are made from small fish.

That was a slice of heaven. The narration, visuals and sweet, sweet rhythms of SV was a dopamine hit of the most wholesome variety. I've got a new tank to scape tomorrow, and this was inspirational. I have a butt load of java, anubias and simple ole japonica and can only dream of creating a setup like this. Nicely done :)

Everything about this video is *chef's kiss*
Think this is the first non FTR video I watched. After getting a taste I shall return. As did the shrimp after getting a taste of that good salmon
Learning about aquarium ecosystems is much easier when you do it with your great sense of humor.
So tempted to feed my shrimp salmon now, gave them cucumber for the first time yesterday, and it’s safe to say that they loved it far too much 🦐

I have a gaggle of native sunfish that I sometimes feed those small salad shrimp. they love it.
I just love the amount of nostalgia i always get watching your videos. Gunbound and Maplestory music. ❤. Also just love how chill your vids always are.
This was awesome! I felt like I was watching a National Geographic special! Great narrative and video quality. I literally laughed out loud when you said the salmon wouldn’t go to waste as it was dinner for your sister!!! 😂😂😂
Very soothing to watch. Really enjoyable and relaxing
I give much smaller pieces to my fish, but they still tend to fowl the water. I normally have to do a water change the next day or clean the filter.
I’ve watched this several times, I can’t stop!
Every time I think I’ve picked a tank size I see another gorgeous option 😭
I love this so much. It's making me want some Chili Rasboras

"Dinner for my sister." lol. Your a funny guy and have a great channel.
Wow, the concept of an ecosystem tank that doesn't require water changes is truly fascinating!
The insane zoomies of the kuhli made me really miss my old clan! (Had to rehome my loaches when Tomago's sister, Mango started to hunt them)
This is the best nature documentary I've ever seen.

The melody switch when the khuli loach started zooming had me laughing
What a journey this was!
as a person with 19 kuhli loaches, i am horrified that you only have one. i have begun to search for your home. i will find it, and wiggle my way through your defenses to liberate thine loach from its solitary confinement and place it in the loving loach family i have so it may never be lonely again. just you wait…….
Dang I never knew this was your channel.

How can you keep Amano shrimp with neo caradina shrimp, they require different water parameters dont they?
This was so satisfying to watch! And such a great soundtrack for it (love stardew valley)
Peeps don't mind feeding fresh/ frozen brine, flakes and pellets full of fish meal, but go artisanal and feed your critters fresh fish and you're all the sudden promoting cannibalism...😅✌️ Edit; loach zoomies are the best!! Those chilli Rasbora weren't looking down on the loaches, they're just jealous their weird cult religion forbids the zoomies. 😉
