  as someone that works at a small pet store catching kuhlis is actually a nightmare… hillstream loaches are tough too. I can catch them in under 2 minutes now though

  No way! I got the same thing! Only now that I found out they were some rare freshwater critters. Mine hitched hiked on a water wisteria I bought from a pet shop 2 years ago. At first I thought it was hydra or some variant of it so i tried real hard on extinguishing them but they persisted, hiding in the dark spots in the tank most times attached to plants, sometimes on hardscape. I know they are still in there and now that i think about it, they never really been a problem.

  Guys I have a question, I have a 55 gal and I won’t to put a 10 gal under it for a grow out/ shrimp tank but idk how to connect the two. I’m guessing something like a sump but they’re confusing and I can’t find any good fish keeping forums to help.

  Bro. What do I do, I spent 500 dollars on these expensive shrimp from Mauritius possibly the only in captivity in the US. Then suddenly a disease swept through the tank leaving every single animal in it dead, even the small animals such as cyclops which I had a large colony of. 😢 advice??

  Oh my GOD! I’m the one who made the detailed comment on bryozoan anatomy that made you do all the science graphics. I can’t believe my geeky comment made it into FFT! QOTW: No weddings this summer. I’m old enough that none of my friends are getting married and our kids are young enough that they aren’t getting married yet.

  I put red eye tetras in my 10 gallon because it's all that the store had left, I was impatient, & it was my first tank. 😬 I thought all tetras "were the same". They're doing OK but got much bigger than expected & definitely deserve a bigger tank with a bigger school. They mostly hide in the plants & aren't as active as i thought they'd be (probably because they dont have much room to really get going) Maybe I can give them away to somebody with a bigger tank & get some chili rasboras in there? 🤔

  I put a nice juvenile female CT Betta into a community tank that had cherry shrimps. It's now a couple of years later and she's the fattest non giant Betta I've ever seen. The cherry shrimps that are still in the tank are the smarter ones that learned how to hide. The dumb ones got eaten.

  5:00 NO WAY HAHA THAT'S MY POST! I knew one of my stupid posts will be in one of your videos eventually 😭😭 I didn't make that for the plants, I made it for the substrate. It was new substrate that I put into one of my established tanks so BB will grow on it since I was gonna set up a new tank 😅

  My light came with a timer built in, even keeps the timer when the power goes out (it then will come on at the 'wrong' time since the clock does reset)

  I used to have a 15gallon tank but then moved it to a 20 gallon tank i wanted more rocks in them the smooth ones I had a live plant but it died because i accidentally left it out of the water to long but i was wondering what tankmakes? I could put it with it a Betta btw it name is fishie

  My fish get baby crickets fruit flys small like tiny small mealworms brine shrimp bloodworms and for my goldfish and turtle worms from my worm bin and bits of different fish maybe some frozen guppies added into the mix within the next year

  That almost empty tank is a biorb (made by oase a German company). They are expensive for such small tanks as they are acrylic and marketed as high end designer tanks. They aren't easy tanks to maintain and plant though. Kind off sad since the bigger aquariums that oase makes are user friendly and off high quality for mass produced tanks.
