Hooked on your podcasts. suggestion: on the videos, if you have a short slide show of some of the artist work, it would give context to the conversation. Thanks for sharing the unpretentious wisdom.

Andrew. I really find the podcasts exceptionally encouraging. It feels like a century ago (only 45) that I graduated from university with a fine art degree and life intervened preventing a real effort in this area. I am finally getting back to it and often feel the "it's too late" lie bearing down on me. Thank you for giving me the encouragement to keep on "keeping on". This podcast was awesome!!!

So helpful as usual. I learn something each time I watch one of your pod casts. I can relate to Alex's pet home life and love of birds. My Mom had aviaries inside and out too. I have been an artist since I held a pencil or crayon and won contests since grammar school. I did not make it my primary profession while raising my family, but did sell periodically when asked to paint on commission or someone wanted a piece I did on my own. I was a member of many art associations and had a studio I sold out of as part of a gallery before I moved from the west coast to a desert community in Arizona. I have a studio in my home here, but a bit disappointed in the scant amount of serious art community here. I miss the plein air groups but still connect on social media. Your pod casts are motivation and inspiration. Thank you for sharing and thank you for bringing Alex on too. I find a lot in common with her and enjoyed "meeting" another artists' journey. She is so positive and like many of the same audiobooks. I am fond the "The Secret" and like beliefs and it is refreshing to find positive and creative people to connect with. I am looking forward to researching Alex Warnick. May you both have success and happiness as you travel through your journeys.

It fills me with confidence to continue with my art studies as I am in my forties and am an HGV driver so it’s great to get views on social media as a platform for recognition as well as selling your art as well as approaching galleries. I loved the podcast and enjoy that there is video that I can glance over at while I do studies or excercises whilst in artist mode. A mode that helps me seperate my artist life from my Batman life. You ask excellent questions Andrew and what I really enjoy is that you actually let the person that you're interviewing answer the question 100% on their own without cluttering up the interview as you add your 2 cents worth. You allow the interview to breathe, yet you are still there. That is how you interview somebody. You allow the interviewee the chance to speak and you can really tell that you are listening instead of waiting for your turn to speak. That in and itself is a breath of fresh air in today's society. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it very much. Antony

Andrew, I greatly appreciate the time and effort you devote to making this podcast series, as well as the video tutorials. The Law of Attraction has played a pivotal role in my personal wellbeing and growth and success as an artist. John Assaraf was also in The Secret and has KZread videos on goal setting that are very good. I also listen to Joe Dispenza, Brene Brown, Impact Theory, and Tony Robbins, and in the past watched Abraham-Hicks. I find the business side of this game very interesting, though, in my case, in a rather theoretical way as I tend to be pretty useless at taking action. I really enjoy making plans as Alex does but I then allow myself to be drawn into other activities or fall prey to procrastination (hey, even watching this video, though useful learning, falls into the procrastination category as I'm not watching it at an appropriate time in my, supposedly, working day). Funny thing in my uni experience, I dropped Fine Art as a major since they NEVER taught how to sell and market it. I thought there's no point to this beyond teaching. I ended up in a BA in History/Spanish and then a MBA. 10 years later I jumped back into painting once I saw people selling on ebay. If they had taught me HOW to sell art back then I'm not sure I would have quit 10 years.

@@AndrewTischlerArt I too couldn't get into Abraham-Hicks for a very long time. I remember right away shutting her out and saying, oh another crock. It took a couple of years after seeing The Secret and then learning of some Quantum Physics and other very curious (at the time for me) interesting things on the power of intention in What The Bleep Do We Know, to start seeing not only the possibilities but the actual unfolding of all of this my reality. It's so much fun and utterly amazing. I just couldn't shake the core truth of the message they were sharing, but it also takes being a person that is curious of the subject and asking the questions, being open to hear the answers. They can not be asserted.

I wonder how do u deal with the pain of painting for long time? Coz I’m struggling with painting but not with being lazy actually it’s the opposite, I paint for long time every day that I hurt my hand and now I’m on physical therapy and they told me to stop painting for a while and Im dying to paint , I just have this urge to paint and trying new ways and ideas, so I decided yesterday to paint just for 4 hours and some how it’s became 8 hours and I had to stop because of the pain in my shoulder and I’m sure my doctor will kill me today 😂😂😂😂 I don’t really know how to explain for anybody that I can’t stop painting for a long time, no body knows me and I don’t have deadlines but it’s seems that I can’t control this need!

Hi Sarah, I demand a lot from my body. When I'm not painting I'm usually training. I get shoulder pains too, but stopping something that you love is even more painful. I take breaks and stretch during the day. I also go for short walks and get fresh air. In the evenings I run, play squash or lift weights. I would try getting more physical away from the easel and see if this makes a difference.

Madeline Winter thank you so much for your kindness and support 🌻💛 I will not dear, my body got to fix it self coz simply I can’t just stop 😂💛💛 And you are absolutely right the first doctors I went to told me I need surgery, and I was like “aaah, no thanks I will do it my own way” 😂

Andrew Tischler wow u r really active! my laziness hits me in this part of my life 😂 and I need to admit that I’m a little bit child like, I want to do only the things I love to do since I wake up till sleep, and when I’m hooked on painting man I’m hooked! But you’re right I need to get away a little bit from my easel and work out if I want to continue doing what I’m doing and enjoy it, I guess I have motivation now to do it😂😂 Thanks a lot for your reply 🙏🏽💛🌻 Have a good day 🌻

Hi Andrew, I don`t think you will have much of a natural light on mars to paint, the sun is much further away than here on Earth ... plus I don`t know how the oil colors will react on the mars atmosphere, It is primarily composed of carbon dioxide, molecular nitrogen and argon. It also contains trace levels of water vapor, oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen and other noble gases, its much thinner than Earth`s ... I am sorry, I don`t want to destroy your dream :)
