The CRAZIEST container rollover I've seen this year

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The CRAZIEST container rollover I've seen this year - How often do you see a container split in half? I do these alllll the time and it is so rare to see a container this mangled. The impact over the concrete barrier hit at just the right angle and speed to slice this open like a tuna can, spilling the contents all over the freeway and landing down below.
The load was some kind of appliances to build, like kitchen cabinets. The rain did not help but at least it wasn't pouring; only a light drizzle. Space was tight, so I used my 50ton rotator's (HULK) massive boom to upright it from the other freeway lanes, while Alex in our 75ton rotator (Big Flipper) backed up to the rear for a super controlled lift. Hector got the easy part, using unit 66 (50ton Vulcan) with the equalizing method to control the tractor.
The upright itself was pretty Pepe's textbook and easy. The cleanup.....not so much. I included a 900% sped up portion at the end to show how long that part took and how much labor was involved. Heavy stuff, but with team work we got it done and the roadways were clear again in no time.
►All footage was shot with my iPhone 14 Pro and Sony FX3. I also edit my own footage using Adobe Premiere Pro.

I think using PIP occasionally adds to it. Generally I like the whole screen view, though, as it's less busy and doesn't chop off part of the main view. Josh, I think you do a great job videoing, and I appreciate your work and commentary. Keep it up - I really enjoy your videos!

Well donne! As for your question regarding pic-in-pic. Personally I like videos best that use a variety of filming techniques like tripoid- or helmetcameras and so I also prefer a variety in editing. 25 min of still tripoid-shots can be as boring as much as 25 mins of hectic helmet-views are nerving. An occasional picture in picture sequence can truly enhance a video, 25 min of the same I find to uneasy on my eyes and my brain. I guess its like cooking. A good mixture of good ingridences will make a fine dinner, an overdosis of the finest ingridience will spoil it.

Funny thing though, I've lived in southeastern Wisconsin my whole life and while nobody bats an eye at a rainstorm, any substantial amount of snow hits the ground and people who should really know better are out stacking cars in the ditch like cordwood. We just had a big snow dump here over the weekend. I did a parts run for work today to the next town over (10-15min trip) and saw 1 car stuck in a snowbank on an arrow-straight country backroad, and a minivan nosed into the ditch on the corner of a bone-dry and heavily salted intersection next to a truckstop. Like...how?

I've lived on both coasts in the SoCal, NC, and NY regions for most of my adult life. I agree that the rains in SoCal can definitely be a driving challenge as it mixes with surface oils, just as driving in snow in NC and NY for those who haven't done it often to develop good maneuverability skills. When in NC, it snowed few & infrequent periods. When that happened, people were all over the road and off into the ditches, just as when they received freezing rain. All of it makes the surface slick as heck. Anyhow, love how you implement the picture in a picture for video giving another perspective. Rock on!

The PIP has it's merits, when used right, and also when the cameras are well positioned,. So in this you showing from ground level what where Alex is whilst his camera shows the detail of hooking up the container (or at least it would with just a little bit more tilt forward). For the roll over part, multi angles in full screen for for me.

The PIP works for small segments but in this case Alex (?) needs to tilt the GoPro down a bit as if it is his line of sight.
