The Crashes of 2020/Highlights - UK Motorsport Action
2020 - Year of FIRE.
This season SUCKED, but I'm sure I'm the 951st person to tell you all that. We squeezed in 25 events, half of what we usually do (50 is often the average number) so I guess we can't complain too much, but the beginning and end of the season were incredibly difficult to organise with some circuits letting us in, others not, and some outright banning us for no proper reason whatsoever after we campaigned to save the venue itself! Meaning we had to travel EVEN FURTHER out of our way to get good content. Couple that with every venues different take on a pre-booking system and you have a year that was a logistical and financial headache.
Lets hope 2021 is less of a pain. Enjoy the very best of crashes and action from around the country, from Snetterton, Standlake, Hednesford Hills, Mildenhall Stadium, Kings Lynn Arena, Ringwood, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Mallory Park, Cadwell Park, Castle Combe and BRIEFLY Birmingham Wheels in a year when it very nearly never happened at all.

The oval race sequences were by far the best it's such a shame this branch of Motorsport is continually disregarded by the mainstream media.

@@graham1988 couldn’t disagree more, but each to their own. Would recommend going to watch a couple meetings in real life though, don’t think anyone appreciates the skill their is at oval tracks until your there yourself. Some quality drivers, close racing, big crashes and top mechanics. A lot more behind it then meets what the eye

I like that type of racing where everyone is always crashing into each other. I also like Bangers Racing. Or the object of the race event is to crash into as many cars as possible. And then you also have Bangers Racing.

Honest question for i do not know, whats the point in banger racing? Do they actually keep score or is it just to see who can write off their car the quickest?

Yes, they have championships like any other race series. While contact is allowed and often encouraged if you smash your car too badly you won’t be able to enter all the events and ruin any hope of a trophy. Then there’s demolition Derby’s which are literally just to see who’s car is the last one still mobile. Those are more just for fun at the end of an event.

I think most of these can be resolved with a lick of paint. Maybe a little bit of polyfilla 🤣
The lack of track safety equipment at those small ovals is appalling. No catch fence. Cemented tires on the side of the track.

The Banger racing lived up to its incredible destruction but I have to say that the rest of the video was absolute rubbish, absolutely crap. There's more thrill and spills in the carpark at your local Kmart
