Eh, which part of "no brakes" makes you think they were too slow? :P
@ExzoSSG
3 жыл бұрын
@@kernfel Bobsleds have a pully steering system which is basically a left and right brake for steering around corners. With a bad start like they had with not being able to get in the sled and the inability to properly steer at a high speed around bends results in a speed decrease. Not to mention a potentially fatal crash at the end (which thankfully didn't happen). If you watched the video you would have noticed they were almost 2 seconds behind on time. You may think you just push the sled and make it to the end with no work/skill/effort needed, but, they are much like a race car with how a driver plays a big role in the fate of the race.

2:30 The line the announcer has here, I was already connecting with before he said it. Look at how we can feel just by watching people we know represent countries help another in a human way, a natural way. Look how that camaraderie makes us feel. Eh, which part of "no brakes" makes you think they were too slow? :P
@ExzoSSG

Look at how we can feel just by watching people we know represent countries help another in a human way, a natural way. Look how that camaraderie makes us feel. Errr, that's ICE, not snow. But I agree, bobsledding looks like fun.
Amazing how the french dude went to help the Italians even though they're competitors.

You accuse the U.S. Of rejecting refugees, but not everyone agrees, and is on a much larger scale. Yet you question the basic action of helping another person when their life is in danger, which should be mandatory in everyone's mindset.

skittlebeape Well the Syrian's lives are in danger and they fled Syria, that's why they're called refugees haha. That's why I was surprised by this rare act of kindness.

***** The United States is know for taking in the needy and the poor. Syrians are dying by the thousands in Syria and you complain about women sexually assaulted. Syrians face more hardships than the women in Europe.

My favorite part about this, was seeing all the countries coming together to assist.
Love how everyone got up to help them, no matter what country they are from. Way to go!
Glad everyone is OK and pretty amazing seeing all the people from all over come to help
Thanks French dude for running up to help the Italians not crash backwards into the wall!!
idk why youtube decided to recommend me with loads of bobsled crashing videos all of a sudden, but i LOVE every bit of it
I had a FIAT that did much the same thing after running hard and fast for a bit. A deliciously fun car to drive when all was right, and fortunately I enjoyed working on it too.

Bless their wee hearts what a disaster start to finish 😵 thank goodness for the amazing teams at the bottom helping to avoid them getting hurt!
Never seen a Frenchman move that fast in my life! Kudos, big man.
What a sport! Chilling in a bob until it crossed the finish line. Some teams even have a console installed inside, play Mario Kart and giggle.
*Feel the rhythm. Feel the rhyme. Get on up! It's bobsled t... umpharghumph*
Why are we all suddenly getting recommended bobsleds crashing

Well Bob, mind if I call you Bob? You see, it all started with a broom...
R.I.P. John Candy! (Just reminds me of Cool Runnings almost every time when I watch this Sport) ❄️✌🏼
Good to see all the countries shelping out eachother
"You won't hit that jump at the end..." "Watch me, bro."
This just showed up as a recommendation. Now I can't stop watching bobsled and whistler crash videos.
i love how all the other nations teams helped out after the crash great sportmanship
now i’m stuck in this endless loop of bobsled vids thanks youtube

bobsled is awesome. No its seriously awesome. That thing goes so fast at the end you wouldn't believe it. I went on half of a olympic bobsled course and it scared the crap outa me.
KZread recommended feels like a downwards ice slope indeed. And at the bottom is the corpse of Maru under a 1000 frozen boxes.
"if its going sideways its not going forwards" me explaining to my insurers how I managed to write off my car this time 😂🙃
This seems like it should have been a scene from Cool Runnings!🤣
Wow. So much went wrong that I thought I was watching an Ozzy Man review. Bless them for trying. So unfortunate, kind of the Spinal Tap of sledding
It doesn't look very dramatic, but the speed of those things are actually insanely dangerous
This looks like one of the scenes from The Office where something goes wrong and the cameraman chases after the chaos
Narrator: So, Italy, how wrong do you want your bobsled ride to go? Italy: Yes.
Reminds me of Al Bunny driving his old car- "No brakes! No brakes!" LMAO
“If I disable the breaks the sled will go fast enough to learn how to drive without breaks!”
After the first guy struggled to get into the bobsled he probably said “well this can’t get any worse.”
excellent show of sportsmanship from the other teams
lmao reminds me of the time my Italian friend slammed into a tree trying to show off his m3 lmao
