After all these years, this song is still on point. So many wars in this world and the children are the first victims. Humanity will never learn, so sad... I'm lucky enough to live in a peaceful country.

It's not just the hard hitting subject matter / lyrics But Delores vocal performance has been beautifully crafted. The way she switches between head and chest, coupled with those breaks, cracks and rasps, and of course letting her natural speaking voice accent shine through is just stunning!

I remember first hearing it in my high school - I was mesmerized. I'm now settled in Ireland for 17y. Irish people are special. Music, sense of humor, pure love just because you are.

R.I.P., Dolores....you had a hard life and spent your last years raising awareness and $$$$ for children caught in war zones around our troubled world........we miss your talent and your heart........her vocal technique is "keening", an Irish expression of lament, especially at funerals.......

I know you said you would've liked to have been warned beforehand about the contents of the song.....but then it wouldn't be an AUTHENTIC REACTION, which is what we want. A true authentic reaction means not knowing anything about the song, listening to it, limit pauses to no more than ONE otherwise you're tailoring your real reaction by controlling your emotions with each pause, and that again means it's no longer an authentic reaction too. We want to see your reaction WHILE you listen and watch it....that's really the point of reaction videos and talking is done AFTER video is over. Immerse yourself into the song and just react to it, that is the point. But even though you paused and talked you still showed an authentic reaction and THAT I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE!!!! ❤❤❤

This song is sadly timeless, just as poignant as ever. Dolores O’Riordan has such a unique voice and is perfect for this song. It is such a meaningful song to people who grew up with the “troubles” in Northern Ireland/Ireland/UK, UK less than the others. Your reaction added to the emotion this song gives me.

This song came after IRA indiscriminate bombing which killed children, these bombs were planted in shopping malls, in cars parked on the street, people, kids going about their daily lives
