I am having fun reading comments about "too much auto-tune"! First time I heard Julia's music, I asked her if she uses auto-tune. She did not know what it was. When I heard her singing live, I just realized how crazy in tune she is all the time. Perfect control of her voice! She is truly amazing!!!

It’s not auto-tune it’s echoing. In the video linked she has one echo but in this one she has multiple so it’s hard to make up anything she’s saying. Sounds like about 3 echos after her voice stops, more discernible in the first portion before the solo-duet. It’s also easy to tell with the snapping. People just mistake auto-tuning for echoing since they’re more used to auto-tune being used.

Dolores was one of the first artists I was introduced to as a child. It seemed as if she spoke to me personally, though we never met.25 years later, I haven't heard anyone get as close as Julia. I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope somehow, somewhere, Dolores sees this. Julia, you never cease to amaze me with your deftness, feel and clarity.

i was born in 84 and grew up in southern Ireland. this song was released and took the world by storm. A risky direction from the band and bigger risks from the director of the video. Powerful visuals from the video and vocals from Dolores to sing about the fighting happening in Ireland at the time. This is a MAGICAL cover and i absolutely love it. Beautiful vocals

I love this song and your cover. For those that don't know the story of this song it was made for people to see the darkness in war. It was a anti war protest after some boys were killed in a explosion. After learning about her music I realised how great of a person Dolores was and how sad her music was all along. Before I listened only to the music and now I listen to the words.

I can't help loving this cover! I used to wipe a little tear when I listen to the original song, so I was trying to avoid having it playing around me. You made me just love how it's performed, and that makes me excited enough to listen to this masterpiece again and again and again. Keep the breathtaking work guys.
