The line in this that always struck me was, "My father... he liked me." So simple and yet says so much more than some big blustery emotional declaration. Plus, how many parents love their children, but really don't seem to like them much as people, to actually enjoy their company? Because that line seems to say so little, it says so much.

I remember when I first heard this on the radio. They had a battle of the bands or some type of thing each night with new songs. They didn't know what to make of this song. It was so different than everything else out there, but I fell in love with this song.

This is my life, this is what I miss. My mom and dad. I had epsilepsy growing up and when I would have an attack, my mom would hold me, wrap me in a blanket and rock me back and forth until I came out of it. They are both gone. I am very ill, and I want to be with them. Sir, you are a wonderful young man. I wish I could give you a big hug and have a long talk about life, music and how things should be on this planet. Thank you.

First up, I absolutely love your channel. I stumbled across reaction videos recently and you are by far my favourite of all. You have a genuineness about yourself and complete open mindedness when listening to a new song. You appreciate talent and are not afraid to show vulnerability or emotion. Inspirational man. Secondly, I absolutely love the cranberries and Dolores is such a beautiful talented artist and her voice alone can bring a lump in my throat and tear to my eye. She is badly missed. I hope she has found true peace. Like you, I didn't really know their work until recently. I'm a couple of years older than you, and from Scotland, so the likes of zombie and linger I do very vaguely remember hearing them on the radio as a small kid but never truly appreciated the songs or lyrics until revisiting them in recent months. I have absolutely fallen in love with this band and it's so bittersweet to have done so now and not have the opportunity to see them. I listened to a song last night from them that I hadn't heard yet. It's potentially my favourite song of theirs. It's a beautiful song, the instrumental arrangement, lyrics and of course, vocals are all of of this world. Please please react to Cranberries - Now You're Gone (official video). It is a stunning piece of work and adds to tragic legacy of one of the most underrated and insanely talented artists ever to have braced our airwaves. Again, love what you do, I hope one day you start a podcast/show, I'd certainly be a follower! Keep up the great work brother. And once again, much love for the angel that is Dolores ❤️

Hi! Thank you for reminding me of this song. Feel lucky to have been brought up on all types/genres of music. Give Edith Piaf a listen. Be well and we like you.

I enjoy your channel. Please look for the Cranberries on the Small Desk Concerts on NPR. I have to listen at least once a week to those songs. They are simple acoustic versions. I am so sorry her life ended so young.

Great reaction my Brother, Delores voice moves you to another level, everything in this video is real and the truth. I've watched it over and over and it shakes my soul, the Cranberries made so many wonderful songs, I would love to see your reaction to 'When You're Gone' or 'Cordell' I think you would like them...
