I was at that concert weekend in Nordheim. The Ramones and Siouxsie and the Banshees played on the same day. There was a great atmosphere there and there were no annoying smartphones.😜

Classic Cramps, ultimately the best live performances I've ever seen, four times I saw them live and they are unforgettable! I miss them.

Have to agree, one of the best live bands I've ever seen. The line up with Brian Gregory and Nick Knox was, for me, the Cramps at their finest.

With that "vertical smile" peeking though, Lux could have easily passed for the classic refrigerator repairman. How his pants managed to always stay up, although not completely so, is surely one of the mysteries of the universe. ;-)

I was fortunate enough to see them five times. They usually opened with Mystery Plane.A truly unique spectacle, like a combination of a voodoo ceremony and comedy. The audience was always like some riot with a lot of bruises. They usually closed with Surfin' Bird.

I saw them perform four times between 1987 and 2004. Carefully crafted musical insanity! Rest in Power, Lux! Thank you Ivy for all that you've done for us!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the lyrics..my daughter loved you guys.. she was killed in horrific car accident.. I know she's listening now..we'd like to hear something grand from you in remembrance of her!! She was 22 when she passed!!.. her name was alexandrea!!.5 year anniversary is coming up fast!!.. hmm.. I can't believe she's gonna take 18 hours this fall so she can graduate in May.. whew..she did it for her I'm happy and cannot p.m...but I think she will get it all in control and do wonderfully!!..❤..
So fortunate to have seen them a few times. Favorite live shows of any band. So mentally disturbing, I love it!! Miss you you LUX!!!
No other band comes close, miss those manic nights thanks Lux
Lux testifying 'bout the birds and the uh, butterflies... Messing with the camera crew, having a BLAST! He tears up that stage!
dear god what a showman, had the honour of seeing them live a few time, keep tearing it up you mad daddy ,hope poison ivy well too fantastic
One show I saw them in 82 or so (out of about 6 that I caught of them) Lux ended up in nothing but 6 inch spike heels and a thong climbing the PA stacks at the side of the stage. Spectacular shows always! Nobody ever came close to the bedlam that happened at a Cramps show.
Respect for camera lady
Shure makes one tough microphone... they should use this in their advertising.

I've seen The Cramps multiple times. I've lost count. I can't imagine seeing them in the DAYTIME! When the SUN is out! UGH! With a giant crowd! I did see them at the Fillmore in San Francisco multiple times. I saw them at Shoreline Amphitheater a few times, which is huge. At night. But nothing like this. I'm spoiled. I enjoyed seeing the band up close & personal. Especially when Lux took off all his clothes.
What terrible filming. Where in the hell are the bass and guitar players? Love their music, video stinks...

My guess is their being ignored or worse, punished by the egocentric camera, sound, etc techs, and Lux seems to handle it well messin around and all “ok whatever, I dont giv’a fug reaction.” I’d love to know what’s behind this show. If you’ve played clubs and have dealt with or known club house techs, you know they can really be egocentric a-holes that don’t even need a reason to ignore simple requests for volume on monitors or an undamaged mic or cable, and girls in bands can get treated worse just because some jerk gets kix outta cutting sound out, low. There is a jack off jill long-overdue-reunion and special birthday tribute where the band do a ice-bucket-like -fake-blood thing like she used to do but anyway watch that for a good example of technical difficulties live, being sabotaged and struggling to get help and being ignored for too long and messing up the entire special rare reunion at the most important part.
The Cramps playing in the sun light just doesn't seem right.
Lux really would have been a better director…
Poison Ivy is the shit!!! Love you girl ✌️✌️✌️
