I just passed my CQE and i have to say that there was a lot more emphasis on risk management and OEE. They even used some of the questions from the old body of knowledge such as Activity network diagram and project management. I would like to thank you. Your free lectures have helped me a lot to pass the exam.

Hey Andy, Appreciate all the amazing resources you have shared! Invaluable in helping me get across the CQE line. Question - Are you hearing anything about the impact of the ProProctor Exam process on exam results? I understand this is the first year with Prometric. Also was it you that posted a link to a Prometric site that allowed you to get familiar with the operation of the online exam format? I went there and tried it but can no longer find the link on your site or Prometric. Thanks again! Keep pushing. Dave

Hey Afzal, I''m sure ASQ will update their Primer to reflect this new body of knowledge. I'm honestly not sure when that new book will be released though.

@@andyrobertson566 so if I want to give CQE next year. Can I use old materials, like ur notes, I have 2018 primer and CQE handbook 4th edition?

My exam is on October 3rd, so barely into the new BOK. This should be interesting since all my study materials are from the old BOK.

Question on Open Book exam format - ASQ site says "Absolutely no collections of questions and answers or weekly refresher-course quizzes are permitted. Reference sources that contain such copy are not allowed unless the questions are removed." Are problem examples in your notes OK? What constitutes a collection? Do all examples in question format have to be removed? Confused - Thanks!

Hey Dave, great question - and this is one I hear all the time - so I love to use the ASQ CQE Handbook when I answer this question. The CQE Handbook is probably the most commonly used reference in the CQE exam, and it is full of worked examples of equations. So the answer to your question is, yes, it's okay to have problem examples in your notes. And inversely no, you don't have to remove questions from your exam day resource. A collection of problems would be an entire resource that only had practice exam problems - like the CQE Study Guide.

I imagine the Certified Quality Engineer Handbook, Fourth Edition will still be the most up to date version or should we expect a revision?
