I follow a ton of scratch builders but the level of detail you put into your work is baffling, inspiring and infuriating in the best way. You’ll never see anyone else using a bench plane on basswood/balsa wood. It’s incredible and it really makes all the difference. Even building the entire skeleton of the structure, when technically you could just slap the facade together. It is all stuff most other people skip entirely but yours turn out so realistic. Amazing work.

Excellent video, no chat just techniques which can be applied to other scales and the music can be turned off if desired.

The first thing I noticed when I looked at the finished model was that the Cross on the door is upside down.

These small churches in the upper Midwest ..I love to model. Started my first Baptist church in 75. I’m so glad others are doing this. It’s a hobby of love for history and for me the lords house is number 1 in my book.. down to the lathe and plaster.. nail holes and real brass bell.

I am loving it. Next time try to add some metal hinges to the doors and a door know perhaps. And a small bell on the side of the doors (like in the church schools where they ring the bell for lessons). I would love to see some tiny animals like a rat under the stair or pigeons on the room with a little nest.

This is my favorite build of yours. Also, that roof style would also lend itself to a Scandinavian build.

Nicely done. Some new techniques to pick up. Love the vines. I am going to be doing a church yard diorama shortly. A little different building, a bit larger and bombed out. I'll review this vid before I get started to refresh my memory.

Putting slats on shutters at that scale was the one time I admitted defeat in one my builds. Just couldn't get it. I salute you for doing such an amazing job on yours!
