Half-Life 2 uses a ton of stock sound effects. The one I always notice is the "dropping a bag full of chains" sound the Combine make. Honestly I'm surprised there isn't a Wilhelm Scream in HL2.

Something about your voice and personality along with this little game had me engaged the whole way through. I usually have the attention span of a goldfish, but with this I didn’t look at the progress bar once. It was just a continuous experience. Nice video.

@@Bubbly_Dragon you’re right. I actually used that idiom because I read somewhere that internet users quite literally have the attention span of a goldfish (10 seconds of so?). That idea just stuck with me.

I like how this is a really brilliant analysis of the toll players put on a developer's mental health, and him coming to accept that it doesn't have to be big and long and complex to be good, but Jolly is just like "Haha button go clicky"

@@April_a26 I mean, I'm pretty sure it is. I've felt very similar things, with being afraid to show my game to others, getting demotivated due to player feedback, etc.

I love how every one of Jolly's videos start with "Oh?". It's better than any intro out there.

I like how he is most bothered when the button is clicked for him :D

This was hilarious. Jolly and games that comment on the player's actions really do fit well together.

I thought this was gonna be a simple Stanley Parable inspired game but it definitely surpassed my expectations.

I can't believe I watched the entire 34 minutes of this. Then again, I also watched that one about a waking up at 4am in an endless dream loop.

A video of pressing buttons and crashing the game? Sounds like a normal Jolly video to me.

I'd like to give credence to, in particular, the segment made to replicate performing on a stage and how jolly reacts. His initial hesitation and fear of being disappointing or messing up no matter how much he's practiced, the brief pause just before the action, and the final moment of realization and clarity that comes from understanding that it doesn't matter what it is he's actually doing. Good or bad, entertaining or a stunning failure, it doesn't matter. "I'm just going to push a button"

This reminds me of the old loony toons episode animator vs animation or something like that. It's been remade several times but the one I remember was Daffy being manipulated by Bugs. I think the more recent version was Bugs being drawn by Elmer. The trope still holds up.

The guilt trip worked, I just went and dropped a whole dollar for this game on Steam. It's on sale right now.

Jolly, I don't mind at all that you don't put your regular subtitles in since that takes effort, but check the game menu to see if it has them. The Corridor does have subtitles and I'm surprised you didn't turn them on, pretty much every content creator that talks over the game would do so.

I feel like that video description is oddly in line with the message of the game. Also it's entirely -unsurprisingly- unbemusingly in line with Jolly, of course. Kicking over our sandcastles and shit. I feel like Jolly would enjoy the Stanley Parable. His attitude towards pushing buttons practically makes him the main character, I'm sure he'll relate to him.
