As a game developer I can't even imagine the amount of work to do all these assets solo. That's some dedication out there to get this finished, good job, the game definitely has it's own style and taste.

I mean, the sign that forbid spitting are pretty much real. In some parts of Asia you have to pay a fine if you spit on the street or smoke openly.

To answer to your little RPG tangent in the end: Baldurs Gate is for a good reason "D&D style dice roll". It is quite literally D&D, set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, one of the most popular D&D settings.

Thanks to this stream I found out about this game, it's really awesome. I think the version I played may have been revised quite a bit because of a few large updates they did. Highly recommended. It picks up quite a bit as you progress.

to be fair, 3-d with physics and prop interactions is a lot more complex compared to 2-d heavily restricted games, and balance in starsector just goes right out the window once you have any idea of what youre doing.

If this really does work in Gmod, and I know you can mount it from what I can tell.. you could clean the gunplay up real good.. like real good, kind of makes me want to start that project cuz this world is utterly captivating.. I have this obsession with dilapidated buildings in dystopia, it is the most perfect settings as far as I'm concerned certainly for horror or corridor shooting... I don't know I definitely cut my teeth on puzzle shooters back in the day when that was what they were for the most part, outside of the ID influence.. I would I would love to see that make it come back but I guess it probably won't outside of the mod community, we live in the age of the waypoint and simple level design and prearranged gameplay that plays for you.. and I'm not saying it's good level design to try to find a switch behind a box behind a Rube Goldberg machine where the operator it might as well be the equivalent of those people in 40K that refuel the engines.. but.. I kind of like it.

Tried monochroming it to get rid of the red letters. Cleared it up. Nothing Edit. After cleaning it up further it decodes to "47 6f 64 20 69 73 20 61 6c 6c 0a" or "God is all" The ones at 1:37:28 , 1:43:51 , 2:42:40 are identical

FYI autism nowadays is treated as a "spectrum" of different traits that go from very neurotypical to very not neurotypical. One of them has to do with language and reading comprehension, so sometimes dislexic people are to some degree autistic or have a way of managing langauge similar to how some autistic people do. The "spectrum" paradigm helps present autism in society more like it really is: a structure of personality, a way of relating to the world, a way of thinking, etc. basically a way of being human that usually clashes with our modern society, and not a disorder or a mental illness. As a personal expemple: my brother is a very functional autistic person, and you cannot really tell he is autistic unless you spend time getting to know him. Also my girlfriend is dislexic, and often acts and thinks similar to my brother, despite her not being autistic. A lot of people might have an autistic trait and never realize, as they don't clash as much with society. Hope this rant is helpful to any of you to understand autism ^^

The cutscenes in this game were a bad decision altogether. They're fighting with all the first-person interactions and are too anime compared to the environment.

Ok, maybe this mod isn't for me, but I really don't like the looks of this game (or mod), it takes itself far too seriously, I understand it's a small dev team, but I don't like anything about it. The artistic direction is pure chaos, level design is... weird. 25 € is crazy for a game like this, I wouldn't play this for free. I feel like an asshole saying this but it's what I think, sorry.

Played this half a year ago: This really feels like a lot of effort that was just wasted all over the place without focus. Seems like lots of potential but it needs an actual director, not some depressed person locked indoors or something
